A really impressive pre-workout, especially before cardio
I work out five days a week and cardio is a must for me.Sometimes I do a few sessions per day and when I’m really tired, a product to give me a boost is pretty mandatory.I have tried several pre-workouts in the past, but continue to search for a great one.But this caught my eye when I came across it.The fact that it was marketed for pre-cardio workout made me want to give it a try, so I went ahead and placed an order for it.It arrived quickly and I tried it the following day and so far I really like it.I’ll do the negative first.The taste. I have to chug something flavorful as soon as I take it because it is not great to put it mildly.It definitely leaves something to be desired.But the effect of the powder itself is quite good.It definitely gives me a nice boost of energy and helps me get through my cardio sessions.I feel confident giving four stars. Nice flavor. Mixes in water easily
I like the flavor of this nitric oxide supplement. Has a grape/berry flavor. Not too sweet either. Mixes well with water. I mix it and then let it sit a minute or so and then mix again. This results in no grittiness left in the glass. The scoop is long to reach to bottom of the container. The powder is rather sticky when you get it on your fingers, even dry. The Amazon label was over the directions which was a little irritating. There is space elsewhere that will not cover anything that this label could be placed. Overall, pleased with this supplement.

More of an intra workout for me
I have been taking Cardio Defender for over a week now, and I think it is okay. I initially thought I could use it as a pre-workout since it states it’s a Nitric Oxide Booster. However, after a few workouts, I had to switch back to my normal pre-workout, which gives me more energy and a better pump during workouts.Now, I use Cardio Defender as an intra-workout on my light days or cardio days only. The powder mixes easily, but the flavor is not as strong as I would like, so I mix it with another green powder or BCAA powder.I’m not sure if I will continue to order more after I finish this container, as the price is quite high for what I get.
