Standardized to 95% & 60% are now the same
I found this product from different retailers at different percentages and price points. When I purchased it I went for 95%, at a higher price than the 60% believing I was paying for a higher grade. I was satisfied with the product and before purchasing a second time, called the Buried Treasure company to ask about the difference between the two different percentages. The 60% is the old labeling of the product and the 95% is the new labeling of the product. The actual MCT oil is the same regardless of the label. The label was changed due to consumer confusion. The math equation to get the 95% as explained to me by BT representative, is based on adding adding the ratio of C8 & C10 in the oil, and some other hocus pocus. They didn’t explain the math of the 60% labeling.It doesn’t really matter because it’s all in the wording, for example “Now MCT Oil” (which I use) say’s “100% Pure” this doesn’t mean it’s any better than 95% standardized MCT oil. “Pure” means whatever they want it to mean such as: clean,virgin,natural,or no additives and in the case of Now’s MCT they have listed in the ingredients glycerin,so I am not sure what they mean by “Pure.”I had some oil leakage during shipment and the BT representative explained that they aware of the problem and are working a solution which maybe addressed by the time you are reading this. The reason for leakage is two fold, first the oil softens the adhesive in the cap, second the plastic bottle compresses during the shipment process. I had less of a problem with the Now MCT because of the glass bottles not compressing and ordering a larger quantity the bottles were packaged upright. My BT purchase was for a single bottle which was shipped on its side. I would say this is more of a shipping issue than a product issue and would not rate the product because of it’s arrival condition. However, the quality of the plastic bottle is something that the manufacture is responsible for and should be graded on.I am happy with my purchase and would purchase again if the total cost was better than the Now brand, as glycerin is not an ingredient listed in the BT brand. Glycerin is a part of the extraction when making MCT, but it is unknown whether or not Now brand adds in more glycerin to dilute the product and decrease their costs. Not all brands list glycerin as an ingredient, perhaps this is due to it being in there from the start and are not required to be listed, unless it is an additive, or additional amounts beyond “standardized” have been added. I cannot say for sure!I like both products and would purchase either one based on price as I cannot tell any difference in quality in using the products. If prices were equal I would purchase BT brand because no other ingredients were listed on my bottle.Of course, they could come out with a third label that would change everything:-D

I really like this brand of MCT Oil
I really like this brand of MCT Oil. It tastes like nothing really, as it has no coconut flavor. In saying that, I found it sits well in my stomach and no burn in the throat if I take it on a spoon. I have tried the NOW brand, and I found it a little weird tasting and burning in the throat. Not sure why, but friends also say this one is better. Look around the net, and you might find it on sale in other places.As for the bottle, it is a nice, easy to handle size. Although it is plastic rather than glass, I like the oil better than other brands. So that is a trade off. The company recently started using new seals under the cap, and they are almost impossible to remove entirely. Not sure I like that feature, but this oil is very thin and leaks easily, so that is likely the reason for the new seals.I also put a small (glass) 2 oz. dropper bottle of it in the console of my car. When on the road having a meal, I take a couple of dropper-fulls for an afternoon boost. Works amazingly well.

Love it. Tastes clean and pure with almost zero taste.
There is almost zero taste. I actually drink this straight from the bottle. The only ‘feel’ you get from it is a sort of lubrication oily feel in your mouth…as expected since it is an oil. Imagine the same thing as taking a swig of olive oil but without the taste. I Don’t put this in my coffee because it doesn’t mix well without blending, but take a dose and chase it with coffee.If you are looking for a good MCT oil for Ketogenesis this is the one. Coconut oil is mainly lauric acid which is what you want. It gets no easier than this unless you can afford the salts and survive the taste.

Helped My Exhaustion, Tastes Okay, Easy to Take
I have had chronic fatigue for two years. Fatigue is not the same as being sleepy. I wake up and feel like I rather die then move. I hurt all over and it’s a struggle to shower or get anything done at all. I’ve exhausted all my resources on getting various tests done to figure out the issue. I also have IBS and came across PCT2 enzyme deficiency which I believe is my problem. I take L-Carnitine and Buried Treasure Coconut MCT oil twice per day and feel normal. In the past two years I’ve been prescribed stimulants like Ritalin at higher and higher doses until they were just useless and weren’t working so I discontinued them. I was put on some drugs for Narcolepsy for a little bit (but they are very expensive and didn’t work.) So to find a product on Amazon that makes me feel human again without a black box warning on it, wow. This product has changed my life.Product review: Tastes good, makes my herbal tea or coffee a little more buttery. I add it to my protein shake in the afternoon. I use 1 teaspoon in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. No jitters or feeling like I’ve taken a supplement. I feel ‘normal’ which is pretty abnormal for me. I have a normal amount of energy. I also use L-Carnitine with it, but am unsure if that’s actually helping or not.My sleep has been good and no negative side effects from using the MCT / L-Carnitine combo. For sleep though I do take a couple of Magnesium tablets per day, but like I said before I have terrible digestion and despite being a Vegetarian now and eating very clean I’m pretty sure I don’t get what I need from the food I eat.I have a very sensitive digestive system and this oil caused zero problems or irritation to it. The taste is clean without a coconut edge or anything funky going on. No pungent smell. The bottle is plastic but high quality.

I add this high quality MCT oil in everything when I need more good fat content for my keto diet. Its tastless too. I havent noticed it overtaking any other flavors which is the main reason for my 5 stars. I will definitely keep buying this brand as I am very happy with it. Highly recommend!
