I have always had a good experience with Bulk Supplements, and these alfalfa capsules are wonderful. Alfalfa is an underrated super-supplement. My mother used to give me giant alfalfa pills when I was a child, and I think they really helped me to grow into an very healthy adult. The story I heard is that Arabian princes would feed their stallions alfalfa before a race and the horses would get really hopped up with energy. I’m like “where do I sign up??” even though I know full well that I’m not an herbivore and can’t use cellulose for energy.Still, alfalfa is jam-packed with vitamins and minerals and your [human] body can definitely use those. Moreover, it can probably use them better coming from a natural source with slower release and more diversity.That said, I don’t notice any particular effects or difference with these. That also means no ill effects. I’ve been opening the capsules and dropping them into my protein shake, which isn’t as bad as it sounds. I’ve tasted the powder and it is very similar than another brand I’d used, except that this brand is less salty (you wouldn’t expect it to have salt but it does).It’s also a lot cheaper.

Seems Like a Great Value!
This alfalfa extract powder seems light in color, but when I did a web search for images for alfalfa extract I see everything from dark green to this pistachio color. I’m guessing that there is just diversity in plant color here. The capsules have no fillers, so you’re getting 500 mg of pure extract in each capsule. I had no trouble swallowing or digesting these, and the cost is very reasonable for the 8 month supply. So far these seem great. I look forward to learning more about the company as it becomes available online.

I love Bulk Supplements brand. Alfalfa has saponins which offer their own unique benefits. My physician informed me that he wanted me to start taking alfalfa. I have been on this supplement now for about four or five days now and am beginning to feel better, along with the added fiber from the alfalfa which has helped my digestion is a happy added bonus. I just followed the directions on the bottle, which is to take just one capsule daily. I am so happy this is helping me. The capsules are easy to swallow, but I also open the capsule and pour the contents unto my morning smoothie which is a bit more convenient for me. There 240 capsules per bottle, and have no added sugar, are GMO-free, and soy free. The expiration on my bottle is June 30, 2026! Very happy and would definitely recommend this supplement. Thank you!
