The biggest thing that stood out to me right away about BrainMD Neuro-C is the citrus vanilla flavor. It is SO sweet, but in my opinion, it has a surprisingly pleasant and palatable taste for a liquid vitamin C. I can take it straight, although it is very concentrated and very sweet, or I can mix it into another drink. I especially like adding it to my morning drinks because the citrus flavor pairs particularly well with orange juice.I also like the formula itself. The ingredients seem very comparable to the liposomal vitamin C I’ve used in the past from Seeking Health, which I originally chose because I trusted Dr. Ben Lynch’s research and recommendations. I’ve had a good experience with that type of formula, so seeing a similar ingredient profile in Neuro-C was reassuring to me. I also already trust the BrainMD brand, which gives me additional confidence in choosing this product.The bottle is fairly large, so I think you get a good amount for the price. Between the pleasant flavor, concentrated liquid format, and the formula that is familiar to me, I’m very happy with this purchase. The taste is truly delicious and exactly how it is described on the bottle – citrus vanilla. I imagine everyone enjoying the flavor wether children or adults.What I like:The vitamin C is L-ascorbic acid surrounded with a phospholipid mixture derived from sunflower oil, creating a liposomal delivery system.The product used sunflower oil rather than soy-derived lecithin as I try to avoid soy.1,000 mg of vitamin C is a robust therapeutic dose.Soy-Free Phospholipid Source: Utilizing sunflower oil rather than soy-derived lecithin avoids common allergens and GMO soy concerns.As mentioned before, the taste of this product is sweet and delicious, but I think this sweetness is coming from the glycerin base. Each tablespoon is 8 grams of carbs and 68 calories. This is substantial if you are on a low carb diet.The bottle states “Use within 30 days of opening to ensure maximum freshness”. This may be a bit of a problem if you plan to take half a tablespoon per day (500mg of vitamin C).What I did not like:There are some icons on the product such as “gluten free” and “non gmo” but these are not third-party logos (such as the Non-GMO Project Verified butterfly logo or the GFCO Gluten Free Certification Organization logo. So some people who get stomach upset from vitamins (that would be me) should notice this to be pretty gentle.Review:Fairly large bottle, well-labeled, with a useful squirt top that is much easier to dispense than pouring.I refrigerated it immediately to preserve freshness.The liposomal vitamin C is a liquid. The thickness is comparable to heavy cream or a yogurt drink, like lassi.The color of the vitamin is orange, about the hue of orange fruit juice.The smell and taste are pleasant. It reminded me of a children’s chewable vitamin and also of thick orange juice.The taste is strong, but easy to swallow. Most will probably enjoy it, especially refrigerated. It was a refreshing little shot of orange.I have taken in a few days in a row and have experienced no stomach upset from this product.Additional Comments:I received a free bottle to review and I actually like this product. I like this liquid vitamin C supplement and appreciate that it provides 1,000 mg of buffered vitamin C in each serving. The citrus-vanilla flavor is pleasant, and the liquid is easy to take.One thing to keep in mind is that this is a large bottle, and each serving needs to be individually measured with a spoon. Because of that, I think it is better suited for use at home or in the office rather than something you would want to carry around for travel.I especially like having it available when I feel like I may be coming down with a cold. I use it when I notice the early signs and want some additional vitamin C and antioxidant support.Overall, this is a convenient liquid formula with a pleasant flavor and a generous amount of product. Recommended, particularly for keeping at home or in the office.

I used the before and after a recent trip to help with jetlag and keep me going. I dont feel awful so maybe it worked but man is it sweet.This just arrived in a plain amazon bag so no surprises really, a bit beat up but it worked. A nice little seal inside to ensure it stays untampered and fresh. On opening it seems to be ok.The taste, wow, the taste. Have you ever tasted the orange juice frozen concentrate? If no one told me, that’s what I would think this is, it even looks like it when you put it on a spoon. Man is this stuff sweet! I can feel the sugar coursing through my veins afterwards. Honestly its not a bad taste but it does stick with you for a bit. Note, dont drink your coffee right afterwards. A simple squirt onto a spoon and your done. With a squirt top, be careful its easy to overshoot the spoon.Using before and after my recent trip, I seem to have bounced back from jetlag quickly and I’ve been in good health but its hard to say. I getting over 100% of my daily Vitamin C but its hard to admit if its this or maybe the sugar content had me outside more. For what its worth maybe it boosted my immune system after spending 11 hours on a flight, if it did its well worth the money at a good value.

I really like this brand and have tried several of their other products, so I was happy to give this Vitamin C a try! I’ve been taking it for awhile now, and it seems like a quality product and I haven’t had any stomach upset.I like that it provides a high dose of Vitamin C in an easy liquid form, so I can just take a spoonful and be done with it for the day.The citrus vanilla flavor is definitely interesting. It’s sweet and tart at the same time, and while it’s a little different from what I expected, I don’t mind the taste!I also like that it’s a liposomal formula and made without artificial ingredients or common allergens. After opening you have to store it in the fridge and the price is a little on the higher end.Overall, it’s a convenient way to add Vitamin C to my daily routine, especially when I’m looking for a little extra immune support!
