The product page for this item currently states these are “gummies” for men and the picture states they’re “B gummies,” and then I am seeing that the flavor lists this as shilajit gold gummies and that the supplement type is iodine yet the ingredients on the product page states it has “L-Arginine, Manuka Honey, Shilajit.” This is confusing because the product I received is none of the above and is, rather, “Boost Gummies” that contain oyster peptides, epimedium extract, maca extract, L-Arginine, ginseng extract, schisandra, beetroot, zinc citrate, and grapeseed extract.While I have no experience with or knowledge about the oyster peptides in this supplement nor what would be an effective dose, I can state with certainty that the other ingredients seem underdosed in my personal experience from other products I’ve purchased and used in the past. From what I found, most studies have used 1.5 to 3 grams of dried maca root per day, I’m not sure how 73mg of this maca extract would equate in comparison to those amounts used in the studies. I won’t go line by line through the ingredients list, so suffice it to say that I’ve included a picture of the list on the product label and one can do their own research on whether it will be a good fit for them or not.The label states that a serving size is two gummies, so this bag should last approximately 30 days. The gummies themselves are little round disks, taste pleasant, not overly sugary, and do not have any odd or lingering aftertaste. It has not been a long enough period of time to state my having noticed positive effects from this supplement, and I cannot state as of today that I have noticed an increase in my energy levels and the like. No side effects like stomach upset, indigestion, etc., have been experienced though.One thing about this product that truly gives me pause is that there is no “best by” date nor a lot number printed on the package, so I am unable to determine the freshness of nor how long one could store a product such as this.There are no allergen statements on the bag either. People with allergies that could cause emergent health situations usually need to see this information on a label before feeling safe consuming a food-type product such as this, so I did want to point that out for anyone reading this review who needs to see allergen statements. I’ve included pictures of the front, back, and even the bottom of the bag to confirm no best-by date, no date of manufacture, no lot number, no allergen statement.With the lack of such information, I am unable to give this product five stars. These are important food safety concerns in my mind, and it is also something factoring into my statement that I do not feel this is a good value for the money. At almost a dollar a day for a supplement missing important information, I could likely find a properly labeled product with best-by dates, lot numbers, as well as allergy statements at a price at or close to this Boost Gummies item.
