It works but you absolutely must research the ingredients

This stuff is very powerful (and with a name Bone Crusher it had absolutely better be). I have had many, many pre-workouts of varying strength and focus (stim, no-stim, pump, etc.) and I would classify this pre-workout as extreme. A prospective user needs to carefully investigate the ingredients and decide if it’s right for them. Why do I say that? Primarily because of two ingredients: Rauwolscine (i.e. alpha-yohimbine) is an extremely strong stimulant that has side-effects and medicine interactions (and the dosage, while not huge, isn’t conservative) and Kanna, which is a very strange thing to find in a pre-workout (and can side-effects and mood effects).My other ingredient comments are that the ivy is kind of a pointless inclusion, I like the lower caffeine content (and frankly it should be, given the other stimulants), and I wish they had used L-citrulline instead of Nitrosigine (saves tub space with a smaller dose probably). And finally, I know the intersection of people taking high power pre-workouts and those who care about food additives might not be huge, but I’m one of them. And if you are too, know that this stuff has sucralose, acesulfame potassium, silicon dioxide, and calcium silicate.If you are a fan of very high stim pre-workouts and you are looking for more than caffeine provides, I guardedly recommend this as it the effect at the gym was undeniable for me. But research it carefully and stay away if you are beginner user of pre-workouts.

Strong kick, bleh taste

I gave this pre-workout powder a try before my training sessions to see how it handled energy and focus. Even with just three-quarters of a scoop, the energy hit hard and fast during my workout. However, my initial impression of the tropical peach flavor was quite disappointing because it tastes very artificial.Pros:* Delivers a strong and noticeable energy kick even below a full scoop* Formulated with standard performance ingredients like creatine and beta-alanine* Solid intensity level for heavy lifting sessionsCons:* Tropical peach flavor tastes very artificial and unappealing* Strong beta-alanine tingling sensation that can feel uncomfortable* High price point compared to better-tasting alternativesVerdict:This supplement definitely packs enough punch to power through intense workout sessions. If you are an experienced gym-goer who prioritizes raw kick and does not mind intense skin tingles, the potency is certainly there.That said, the artificial taste makes it tough to drink, and the tingling effect might be too harsh for casual lifters. If flavor and a smoother experience matter to you, there are other options on the market that taste significantly better for the price.

Solid Pre Workout

I am an avid user of pre workout supplements and have tried most of the big brands, but was not familiar with Black Skull so this is my first trial run with one of their products. This is a good pre workout, I found it provided good focus and energy for my workouts this week.Since my caffeine tolerance is pretty high I used a full scoop 15-30 minutes before my workout mixed with water and it provided me with a good boost of energy without feeling overstimulated. The powder mixed very well with water and did not feel grainy. I got the peach flavor which was decent, I will say it has a slightly chemical aftertaste but I am normally drinking my pre workout pretty quickly so it isn’t a major issue for me but something to consider with this flavor.The last thing I’ll mention is that this is produced in the USA and they are transparent with the ingredients used in their formula which I appreciate since some brands are less open about sharing those details. Overall, this is a brand I will look to in the future for additional purchases, but I may try a different flavor next time and see if the aftertaste is better with a different flavor.

Good Boost But Not My Favorite

Let me start by saying I only used half a scoop, and I’m glad I did. For me, the Tropical Peach flavor was way too strong and had a very artificial taste. I’m mostly a water, coffee, and tea drinker, so flavored energy drinks aren’t really my thing. If you’re similar, I’d definitely recommend starting with half a scoop mixed with the normal amount of water before deciding if you want more.Mixability could also be better. I tried using both a frother and a shaker bottle, and while it looked like everything had dissolved, I found quite a bit of powder settled at the bottom of my cup after it sat for a bit.As for the performance, I have to give it credit. Even at only half a scoop, I noticed a solid energy boost that actually felt stronger than my usual morning coffee. I spent the morning working in my warehouse, and it helped me stay energized without making me feel jittery or causing a crash afterward, which was a pleasant surprise.That said, I probably won’t keep using it. The energy was good, but between the overpowering flavor and the powder not mixing very well, it just wasn’t worth it for me. I’d honestly rather have a quad shot of espresso on the days I need an extra boost because it’s something I actually enjoy drinking. If taste doesn’t bother you and you’re looking for a strong pre workout, this may be a better fit for you than it was for me.
