Having said that, I like that the softgels are small and easy to swallow. They are pretty tasteless unlike the raw black seed oil.This comes in a dark plastic bottle, double-sealed. I appreciate the detailed label which clearly depicts levels of the beneficial Omega oils as well as the actual level of thymoquinone per dose. that’s important as thymoquinone is thought to be the major active constituent in Black seed oil. Another reviewer was weirded out by what they perceived as lack of full transparency on the label, fearing it might not actually contain Nigella sativa oil.Those fears were completely groundless and foolish: Nigella sativa produces thymoquinone. NO OTHER PLANT does so in significant amounts. so by simple logical deduction it is obvious this is Nigella sativa seed oil.the capsules are easy to swallow with no weird taste nor any reflux afterwards like another brand had for me.FYI;Research has shown that taking Nigella seed oil can help asthmatics reduce their use of long acting bronchodilators by up to 50%!! when I first began using it for this purpose, I managed to reduce my use of Advair HFA by 75%: using only 1 ‘puff’ per 24hours!! I continued like that until life changes started a complete relocation to another community almost 40 miles away.The stress levels, dust and mold exposures, etc. shifted things so now I use 2 ‘puffs’ of Advair HFA per day versus the 1/day I’d used for some years. Now, in my mid-70’s versus late 60’s I am grateful I am still doing well with only 1 puff morning and night versus the prescribed 2. In smelling the bottle, it does kind of smell like black seed cumin. But very lightly. In putting the capsule in my mouth. It has a sweet outer coating – not like candy but just slightly slightly sweet. Because it’s a gel cap and because of the shape it’s very easy to swallow. And after swallowing, there is the slightest flavor of black seed. Very slight. Very easy to take and black seed is very good for your health and your immunity so this is an easy way to get it into your regimen.
