This is not clear in the product description which is very limited. Golden pearlescent capsules are kind of strange to me, but easy to swallow with food. The effectiveness kind of reminds me of Co Q 10, although not exactly the same. I haven’t had any bad side effects, but I take it according to label’s direction. I had no bad taste from it since taking it still in the capsules. Not sure about raising my energy levels since already taking something for that.

With these types of supplements, it is honestly very difficult to confidently state if there is any noticeable effect, so I can’t quite speak to the effectiveness of the pills. However the capsules themselves feel quite like plastic. I feel usually there is some softness to the capsule, but these straight up feel like it is a plastic shell, which wasn’t ideal. Also the lack of information of manufacturer gives one pause for wanting to take them with peace of mind.

The reason this caught my eye over a single-ingredient nattokinase capsule is that the formula combines it with CoQ10, bromelain, turmeric, and astragalus. Whether you want all of those in one capsule depends on what you’re already taking, but for me it consolidated four bottles into one, which kept the cabinet less cluttered. That alone made it worth trying.The capsule itself is a two-piece vegetarian shell, larger than a standard multivitamin but smaller than the horse-pill versions I’ve seen for combined formulas. It swallows fine with a full glass of water. The fill is a yellow-tan from the turmeric, and there’s a mild earthy smell when you open the bottle that fades quickly.
