I’m enjoying this supplement
I’m definitely not a body builder, or even a regular exerciser (although I intend to get back to a good regular exercise regimen, with which I expect this supplement will help), but the ingredients in this supplement have a lot to offer me anyway.For one thing, I need a good amount of protein in my diet to feel healthy and balanced with regard to my mood and energy, and this supplement is promoted (on its label) as supporting protein absorption. Also, this supplement supplies 12 g of Whey protein isolate in each serving. Each serving also provides 3 g of BCAA (a combination of the amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine). Since amino acids are the building blocks of protein and I need a lot of protein to feel good, I’m happy with this formulation. Also, when taking isoleucine and valine in the past I’ve found that I felt more energetic throughout the day.It also has 1 g per serving of creatine monohydrate, which I love. Whenever I’ve taken creatine, I’ve also found that I feel more energetic, so I need to not take it late in the day, or I feel too awake to fall asleep easily. After taking it, I don’t feel a forced energy or jittery, as I do after drinking a caffeinated beverage; I just feel clear-headed and awake. If I take it earlier in the day, I feel I not only can fall asleep easily, but that my sleep seems a bit deeper and more refreshing. Probably because I’m feeling calmer and more relaxed.I only received this product a few days ago, so I can’t speak to any long-term effects, but I can say that I have felt a noticeable increase in my energy levels (including my mental energy and clarity), and I feel that my mood has improved, too.It’s also fun that that this supplement comes in bright red gummies that have a nice sweet flavor (sort of fruity, although I can’t quite tell what fruit it tastes like – the ingredients say strawberry).
