Its always nice adding a Pro/Prebiotic into your daily regimen. I added this and despite the occasional “questionable” food choice, my system has been very regular. Its kept me from going to either extreme, and is a great value, being one of the few supplements that only require a single capsule. It is extremely effective without causing digestive distress. Definitely recommend this!

Simple formula and easy once-daily serving
What I like most about this probiotic is how uncomplicated it is. The serving is only one capsule per day, which is much more convenient than supplements that require two or three capsules at a time. The combination of Akkermansia with XOS prebiotic also means you’re getting both components in a single product rather than having to purchase them separately.The capsules have been easy for me to take, and I haven’t experienced any noticeable digestive discomfort. I also appreciate seeing manufacturing and testing information clearly listed on the packaging, including GMP production and third-party testing.My main hesitation is the labeling of the Akkermansia amount in TFUs rather than the more familiar CFU measurement commonly seen on probiotic products. I would prefer a little more explanation on the label about exactly what that measurement represents. The price is also somewhat higher than many basic probiotics, although Akkermansia products tend to fall into a more specialized category

Overall great niche probiotic product
1 capsule serving is fabulous; I take a variety of supplements and hate when it takes 3 capsules at a time for a dose because I pre-sort my supps for 3 weeks out at a time, and that makes the daily sets not always fit into weekly pill carriers.This is both a “pre” and “pro” biotic – otherwise known as a symbiotic. I already take a pre-biotic with my morning shake prior to taking these capsules, so I don’t particularly need the pre included here. But for those of you who don’t get enough prebiotic daily, this being included here is a plus.Bioschwartz is a well-known and trusted name brand; they always include significant certifications and testing, and that’s true here as well.While these two are not “cons”, they aren’t solidly in the pro’s category either: with Akkermansia being an anaerobic bacterium, it’s generally more expensive/harder to produce than aerobic strains. At $1 per daily dose, this isn’t an excessive price, but compared to most probiotics you’ll find it to be a bit more expensive.One last thing to watch out for on the label is the ‘1B TFU’ measurement. In plain English, TFU stands for ‘Total Fluorescent Units,’ which means they are counting all the bacteria in the capsule—both the live ones and the dead ones. Unlike standard probiotics that list live bacteria (CFUs), this label doesn’t say how many of those 1 billion cells are actually alive and active when you take it. I’d be very curious to know why BioSchwartz chose to use TFU’s here. They are not a company known for misleading info, so there must be a valid reason.

Prebiotics (Inulin) are supposed to help feed and nourish the beneficial bacteria. Postbiotics are believed to also help feed the beneficial bacteria and support immune function. Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) are a prebiotic that helps lower gut pH to help kill off the harmful pathogens.I have leaky gut, and I am currently being treated for it, but I need a good prebiotic and probiotic. I was excited to try this brand, especially after learning that Akkermansia Muciniphilia is a next-generation strain that supports the metabolic pathways. Great quality, great ingredients, low dose
It’s XOS and Akkermansia – and the capsule, that’s it. Super clean. GMP, third party tested, made in the USA, all on the label, that’s fantastic.XOS and Akkermansia are getting a lot of attention for both gut health but also general well-being like lower insulin sensitivity, lower inflammation, and even lower weight. This looks like a great supplement.Unfortunately, all the trials are at significantly higher doses, more around 10B TFU akkermansia and 1g XOS, daily. This is 1B TFU akkermansia and .4g XOS.I had no stomach issues, but I do take it with breakfast.Overall, excited about this supplement, but I hope it can work at these doses.
