These capsules are about half an inch long and just narrow enough to be at the upper edge of comfortable swallowing for me. It is odorless and tasteless, as expected. It’s pretty chunky for an iron supplement. Of course, it does take more volume to have a sophisticated iron supplement. I don’t notice side effects from taking it.Like many, I do struggle to get enough iron into my system. I take a typical cheap pill with a lot more iron than required and it gets me to a point where I am just borderline okay to donate blood. Why does the body make it so hard to get something so necessary? I’ve tried chelated supplements with little better effect. I’ve cooked regularly in cast iron without noting improvement. I do at least generally not have digestive problems from these things.These do seem to at least maintain the level of iron even though they provide just 100%DV of iron. I have had iron deficiency on and off over the course of my life and my latest blood panel showed that I am again anemic. That is why I ordered these, to try to boost my iron. I have been taking these for a little over a week and so far so good. I take one capsule first thing in the morning with a glass of water. The capsules are easy to swallow and I have not experienced any odd aftertaste or any stomach issues. The supplement delivers 18mg of iron which equates to 100% of daily recommended iron. It will be interesting to see the effect these have on my iron levels the next time I get bloodwork as liposomal iron is not digested in the stomach but rather absorbed in the small intestine. This is supposed to raise iron levels more efficiently and more quickly. One bottle is a two month supply and because of that, I think the price is fair.

A bit larger capsules but what I needed.
So these Liposomal Iron supplements are exactly what I needed to get my iron needs covered. Sometimes I don’t get enough in my diet. For me, the 18mg of Iron in this product does the job. The tablets are a little large in my opinion but with a good swig of water I can get them down. They don’t taste like anything so that is a plus because I am not a fan of the iron taste for regular tablets. I’ve not had any stomach issues while taking these, but I always take these sorts of capsules with food to avoid that. It’s 1 capsule a day and there’s 60 in a bottle so that’s a good two months’ supply.Although while I like these, the price is a bit higher than my budget allows. So, while I’ll finish this bottle I probably will go back to what I can personally afford.
