  • ABSORBED AND ACTIVATED: Standard thiamine b1 supplements stop at absorption. But B1 only becomes functional once your body converts it into its active coenzyme form - a conversion that requires magnesium. Our formula delivers both, so you get both superior delivery and full biological activation from one daily capsule.*
  • OPTIMIZED BENFOTIAMINE FORMULA: Standard thiamine is water-soluble and largely flushed before it can reach the tissues that depend on it. Our fat-soluble benfotiamine crosses cell membranes efficiently, then pairs with the right cofactors - magnesium, P-5-P, and alpha-lipoic acid - that unlock B1's full role in nerve, brain, and cellular function.*
  • RESEARCH-INFORMED DAILY DOSE: BioActive Vitamin B1 Foundation Strength delivers 150mg of benfotiamine - a research-informed daily dose developed in consultation with our Science Advisory Board. Foundation strength that supports the full pathway from absorption to cellular use.*
  • GENTLE, BUILT FOR DAILY USE: Because benfotiamine is fat-soluble and absorbed through a natural transport pathway, it supports comfortable long-term daily use with no need for cycling.*
  • FORMULATED FOR PEOPLE WHO READ LABELS: Our benfotiamine capsules are vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, and soy-free. Each bottle is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility and third-party tested for purity. Take 1 capsule daily with or without food. For best results, use consistently for at least 60-90 days.*

    High‑Absorption B1 With Real Activation Support 😎⚡

This BioActive B1 formula is honestly one of the better thiamine supplements out there. Most B1 products stop at “absorption,” but this one actually covers the activation step too — pairing thiamine with magnesium, which your body needs to convert B1 into its usable coenzyme form. That combo makes a big difference in how effective each dose actually is. 💪✨The benfotiamine form is another major upgrade. Regular thiamine is water‑soluble and gets flushed fast, but benfotiamine is fat‑soluble, so it crosses cell membranes more efficiently and reaches the tissues that rely on it — especially nerves and mitochondria. With the added P‑5‑P and alpha‑lipoic acid, the formula supports nerve comfort, cellular energy (ATP), and overall metabolic function without stimulants. ⚡🧠At 600mg, it’s definitely a high‑strength option for people who need deeper daily support. And it’s clean: vegan, non‑GMO, gluten‑free, soy‑free, and made in a GMP‑certified facility with third‑party testing, so you know the label actually matches what’s inside. If you’re looking for a B1 supplement that goes beyond basic absorption and actually supports nerve health and cellular energy the way B1 is supposed to, this one’s a solid pick. Clean formula, smart cofactors, and designed for long‑term use. 💯🔥

    Seem Somewhat Effective

They seem to help my energy a bit throughout the day as long as I take them first thing in the morning when I wake up. They’re standard little capsule size and are easy to swallow. The capsule doesn’t taste like anything so there isn’t any funky taste if you accidentally touch it to your tongue or anything like that. I just take them with my morning mudwatr and they seem somewhat effective. It’s hard to tell for sure if it’s just a placebo effect or not, but I like taking them and I feel like they help 🤷 I like this brand of supplements and take a couple others of theirs as well, so I feel like they’re a pretty decent brand and I’ve had good success with them (that’s what made me try these in the first place). If you have energy issues then I’d try going to bed earlier and at the same time every night (with no screens for the hour before bed) first so your body establishes a routine and is getting the rest it needs, but then these are a nice addition once you have your sleep in order. They don’t bother my stomach or anything either, so I would recommend them.

Seen enough to consider the higher dose

I had no issue at all taking these bioactive b1 capsules, finding them easy to swallow, with an average pill size, with no after effects or unpleasant taste. I do think this is the kind of supplement that needs to be taken for several months to see full benefit, but my experience this far is showing some promise in terms of energy and relief. I think the stronger formulation is better for more complex situations, and so I think to keep it economical, you can start with this 150 mg version and jump to their 650 mg formula if you’re starting to see improvement but need more.

This is a good brand that doesn’t use unnecessary fillersThis is a good brand that doesn’t use unnecessary fillers

I am someone who leans heavily into supplementation to improve my health, and I found myself interested in this product after learning about the many benefits of Benfotiamine. What motivated me to try this is because I’ve learned this particular form of B1 reduces advanced glycation end products, and is also good for cognitive support and nerve protection. Because I have not previously supplemented with this vitamin, I opted for the lower dose to start, but I would probably go with the higher dose next time.In attempting to review this product, I will mention that it’s tough to write a thorough and accurate review of a supplement that I have only been taking for about a month. I know well enough that with many supplements, you need to take them for several months to see meaningful benefits, so I’m not going to suggest that I’ve seen obvious results during this time, but I also haven’t seen any negative side effects. I do take another supplement by this brand that I feel benefits me, and I chose this brand previously because they are free from unnecessary fillers and are third party verified.I would encourage anyone considering this supplement to do their research first, but if you are looking for a good clean brand for supplements, Triquerta is top notch.

This is the highest potency vitamin B1 supplement I have ever gotten. This is the highest potency vitamin B1 supplement I have ever gotten.

This is the highest potency vitamin B1 supplement I have ever gotten. It contains all of the cofactors required for proper assimilation which I would normally have to buy separately. It’s fat soluble for greater absorption at the cellular level, making it very effective with noticeable results. I started out at 1/2 dose for a few weeks because I am sensitive to new supplements and wanted to avoid any potential side effects. There were none. And I am noticing some energy improvements. The capsules are maybe size 0 or 00, just a guess. Fairly large, but not uncomfortably large. This is manufactured to be free of soy, gluten, GMO’s, and dairy. I’d call this a good value.

High-strength formula easy to take & convenient having benfotiamine, magnesium, alpha-lipoic acidHigh-strength formula easy to take & convenient having benfotiamine, magnesium, alpha-lipoic acid

I like that this combines 600mg benfotiamine with magnesium and alpha-lipoic acid in one capsule. It saves me from having to keep several different supplement bottles around, which is always a win—my cabinet already looks like it’s preparing for a supplement convention. The capsules are easy to take, and the 60-count bottle is a convenient size. I specifically like the use of benfotiamine, the fat-soluble form of vitamin B1, rather than a basic thiamine formula. The ingredient list is straightforward, and I appreciate that it’s non-GMO. It’s easy to work into a daily routine, and having the additional ingredients included makes the formula feel thoughtfully put together.I’m not expecting a miracle from any single supplement, but I like products that are simple, convenient, and easy to take consistently. This one checks those boxes for me.High-strength formula, easy to take, and convenient having benfotiamine, magnesium, and alpha-lipoic acid together in one supplement.

Benfotiamine easily passes into the bloodstream, but 600 mg is complete overkill once it’s thereBenfotiamine easily passes into the bloodstream, but 600 mg is complete overkill once it’s there

TRIQUETRA | BioActive | VITAMIN B1 | OPTIMIZED FORM OF B1 | MAXIMUM STRENGTH | 600 MG BENFOTIAMINE | Cofactor Enhancement | P-5-P + Magnesium + ALA | Count (60 Capsules)| Dietary Supplement________________________________________SUPPLEMENT INFORMATIONServing Size: 2 Capsules Servings Per Container: 30Thiamine (As Benfotiamine) (Vitamin B1): 600 Mg (50,000% DV)Magnesium (As Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate): 36 Mg (8% DV)Vitamin B6 (As Pyridoxal-5′-Phosphate): 30 Mg (1,764% DV)Alpha-Lipoic Acid: 300 Mg (Daily Value Not Established)*Percent Daily Values (DV) Are Based On A 2,000 Calorie Diet.OTHER INGREDIENTS: Vegetarian Capsule (HPMC), Rice Fiber, Diatomaceous Earth.________________________________________B1 / BENFOTIAMINE UTILIZATION NOTESThe label lists 600 mg of Thiamine (as Benfotiamine), which is far above what the body can actually utilize. For reference, the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) is 1.2 mg for adult men and 1.1 mg for adult women. Originally, I was worried this might make me feel spun out, so I started with one capsule (300 mg) before working myself up to the full dose. I did not have any issues with either dose, nor feel a difference between the two, and I soon discovered that was because both amounts are well past the threshold where your body maximizes what it can use for normal metabolic functions, and then excretes the rest.Thiamine has to pass through specific transporters (THTR-1 and THTR-2) located in the intestinal lining (controlling how much Thiamine gets into the bloodstream) and on cell membranes (controlling how much Thiamine gets into cells where it can actually be used). There are not endless Thiamine transporters, so your body cannot endlessly utilize additional Thiamine.Benfotiamine increases absorption efficiency into the bloodstream, because it is absorbed through passive diffusion rather than having to catch a ride on THTR-1 transporters. However, once in the bloodstream, it converts to Thiamine, and cellular uptake still depends on saturable transporters (THTR-2) that reach their limit at low levels. You can increase B1 (Thiamine) absorption, but not how much your body uses for normal metabolic functions.Because Vitamin B1 is water soluble, your body just flushes out excess Thiamine in your urine. For this reason, there are no known toxic side effects or formal upper limit to taking higher than RDA amounts of Vitamin B1. Having excess Thiamine in your bloodstream does not pose any health risks, but it also does not provide any health benefits. So, it seems the 600 mg of advertised “BioActive” B1 is just label appeal for those, like myself, who want to take better care of themselves, but are not really familiar with what the body needs, and can process, when it comes to daily Vitamins and minerals.________________________________________ADVERTISED OPTIMIZATION COFACTORSBesides the B1, the marketing makes some claims about the included Magnesium Bisglycinate, P5P (B6) and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), all of which are nice inclusions, though not for the benefits advertised.MAGNESIUM BISGLYCINATE CHELATE: There is a relatively tiny amount (36 mg) of a gentle, relatively well-tolerated form of Magnesium in these capsules. This small amount can be useful for some basic muscle and nerve support, but it does not control Thiamine conversion nor “activate” a high dose of benfotiamine. The good news is it takes so little Magnesium to convert Thiamine into its active coenzyme form, most people already have enough on hand in their body just from their regular diet.B6 / P5P (PYRIDOXAL-5-PHOSPHATE): There is 30 mg of B6 in these supplements, far above your daily needs. P5P is the biologically active, “ready-to-use” coenzyme form of Vitamin B6, but it does not “activate” or “unlock” the Vitamin B1 the way the marketing claims.ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID: ALA is an antioxidant commonly paired with metabolic support formulas, but it also is not optimizing the Benfotiamine in any meaningful way.________________________________________FINAL THOUGHTSThe 600 mg of B1 in this supplement is overkill. It is significantly over the Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) RDA for both adult men (1.2 mg) and women (1.1 mg). The Benfotiamine form in this capsule helps more Thiamine get into the bloodstream, and get there faster, however, it does not overcome the constraints of how much can make its way into, and actually be utilized by, the cells. There are no known adverse side effects for excessive Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) intake, but at the end of the day, you will be flushing that excess down the toilet. The Vitamin B6 in this formula is much higher than your daily RDA, but it is a nice active form (P5P) if your body needs it anyway. However, like the magnesium and the included antioxidant (Alpha-Lipoic Acid), the Vitamin B6 is not doing anything to “optimize” the Vitamin B1 in this formula—and, it cannot help your cells utilize more Thiamine than your body is normally capable of processing.
