Excellent Blend of Healthy Mushroom Powders
I think this is an excellent blend of very healthful mushrooms – Turkey Tail & 7-mushroom extracts (Agaricus blazei, Trametes versicolor – Yunzhi, Ganoderma lucidum – Lingzhi, Grifola frondose, Lentinula edodes, Cordyceps sinensis and Corydceps militaris. If it contained some Chaga mushroom it would be absolutely perfect. I buy Chaga mushroom powder because it is such a potent anti-viral and is probably the best medicinal/healthful mushroom there is. That said, this is still an excellent combination of mushroom powders, though I think it’s a bit pricey (as of this review a bottle of 90 capsules costs $34.95).

Great quality mushroom blend, and easy to digest.
This LABO Nutrition Bioactive Organic Yunzhi/Turkey Tail supplement works well for me, and I love that it’s organic and easy to take. I don’t experience any digestive issues with it, nor do I experience nasty “vitamin burps” with them (I can always tell if something is lower quality from that – blech!). I love this particular blend, as it combines all the different kinds of beneficial mushrooms I’ve been trying to piecemeal together to take on a daily basis for extra immune support – so I’m really happy with it. No complaints here – it gets two thumbs up from me!

A fabulous immune support mushroom formula
In this formula, LABO has put together a formula worthy of Paul Stamets. The lions share of the formula is Turkey Tail, a mushroom known to support the immune system. In one study, Turkey Tail was found to significantly raise the white blood cell count in women who were undergoing chemotherapy. It is also considered to be protective against cancer. This formula also contains shiitake, Lingzhi, two types of cordyceps, Maitake, and Agaricus blazei Murill, a Brazilian mushroom which in one study was found to shrink tumors, lower inflammation and also support the immune system.In fact, all of these mushrooms support the immune system and lower inflammation in the body. I have taken some of the Stamets formulas over the years and I truly believe this formula rivals the quality of his products at a somewhat lower price. Since two caps are the family dosage, it’s not cheap – this is after all, a 45 day supply. Still, for under $1 a day you are getting a powerful mushroom support formula, full of beta glucans and polysaccharides. Your immune system will thank you.

Nice blend for overall health
This is one of those supplements that it is hard to tell if they are working. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t either. They are reasonably priced for 45 day supply. Easy to swallow capsules with no aftertaste or nasty burps. When you have a compromised immune system, like me, I want to assume all the healthy supplements that I can that target immunity. I like the combination of mushrooms they use. I don’t normally eat mushrooms because a family member is allergic, so this is a great way to get mine.

I have taken it for a month with a combination of mushroom mix from Ancient Nutrition. Not sure which one works better but together I get good results with no side effects. I just wish the price was a little cheaper

Good support during chemo and radiation
Immune modulator, increases body strength, maintains blood count during chemo therapy, helps with energy level. I bought it for my Dad who was diagnosed with glioblastoma. His blood work was fair during treatments, WBC bouncing back despite of advanced age (my father is 84 yo).I tried mushroom supplements for myself, and it decreased cholesterol by 10-12% after month of use.Highly recommend!

Of significant note, it contains impressive polysaccharides, Beta-glucans, that boost immune stimulatory and anticarcinogenic activities. That is why mushroom supplements stress the percentage/quantity of these polysaccharides, beta-glucans.Contained with each capsule: 400mg Organic Yunzhi (Turkey Tail) Extract (Trametes versicolor) and 150mg of a Proprietary Blend Mushroom Extract (Agaricus Blazei, Trametes versicolor, Ganoderma lucidum, Grifola frondosa, Lentinula edodes, Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris). As such, I feel this supplement merits a 4.5 – 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.

90 capsules of standardized Yunzhi (Turkey Tail) extract
These Bioactive Organic Yunzhi/Turkey Tail Extract capsules from Labo Nutrition are decent for the price. The bottle arrived to me packed inside a cardboard box. The box is full of information about the Yunzhi/Turkey Tail extract in the capsules, and the other smaller amounts of mushrooms included in the capsules. The bottle also contains a lot of the same information on the label, however the box is a bit more detailed. There are 90 capsules per bottle, and the suggested serving is 2 capsules. Each 2 capsule serving contains 800mg of Yunzhi Extract, which is standardized to 60% Polysaccharides, 20% Beta-1,3/1,6-Glucans, and less than 2% of Alpha-Glucans. Alpha-Glucans is described as being a type of polysaccharide with no known medicinal properties.Besides each 2 capsule serving having 800mg of Yunzhi/Turkey Tail extract, there is also 300mg of a, “Proprietary Blend Mushroom Extract” that contains extracts of various other mushrooms. The capsules are easy to swallow, lots of information on the package and the website, I have no complaints.
