Great for immune support

When I first started taking Elderberry supplements was when I was told by an RN who was working as a nurse her entire life, and she reported that she takes Elderberry as a daily supplement, and even though she was on the front line of infectious patients she never got sick. She attributed it all to taking Elderberry daily. I don’t have any scientific data to support her arguments, but knowing that nature provides what we need and therein lies ultimate cures for what ails us, I’m a believer.These are easy to swallow. Are sealed from the factory with an inner capping and are for the most part, predominantly Elderberry. Highly recommended.

Quality supplement and easy enough to swallow.

I’ve seen plenty of gummies with elderberry, and I’ve even seen a beer with it, but I figured I’d prefer a pill over a gummy for convenience and that gummies tend to have added sugars and such. Elderberry (in particular Sambucus nigra) is purported to provide many benefits related to the immune system, heart, etc. Medical tests have not been overly definitive for the effectiveness of elderberries, and too high of consumption or consuming the wrong parts of the plant can be hazardous to one’s health (and can be poisonous).These pills are what I’m starting to expect in the size of pills, and what I would have thought was large as a kid, but it seems normal now. They are larger, but easy enough to swallow. They are a light purple in color, but there is little aroma or flavor to them (I was actually expecting some sort of smell or flavor, but not much was present). After a few weeks of taking the pills, I didn’t notice any benefits or side effects; however, I would not expect to see any measurable benefits in such a short time as I would expect the antioxidants to be more of a long term benefit and for immune support, well I’ve been couped up for the past 18 months, so my exposure to more than usual allergens is minimal.As one reviewer commented, the ingredients list Elderberry fruit extract (Sambucus nigra) with 5% flavonoids and Elderberry fruit extract (10:1 concentrate), but what exactly is the 10:1 ratio of the concentrate? Based on other concentrates, I would suspect that it means 10 parts of elderberry fruit extract go into one part of concentrate, but one could also read this is that 1 part of the extract takes 10 parts of raw material (so it isn’t that it is more potent, just that it takes a certain amount of raw material to make the extract). The word “concentrate” is used and it is separated from the first ingredient, which is also an extract, so I would like to think it is a concentrated version of the extract and not just how much raw ingredients go into making the extract. It also doesn’t say what type of elderberry this concentrated extract is (the first extract is the more desirable Sambucus nigra).Overall, this seems to be a quality supplement. I am not overly familiar with the brand, but generally feel that this elderberry supplement is good and I certainly prefer it over the alternative of eating gummies. If you are looking for elderberry in a pill form, the concentration is decent and they are easy to take (and you only have to take one a day).

Immunity Booster

I like that these elderberry immunity supplements are capsules to swallow instead of gummies to chew. I am not opposed to gummy supplements, I do like them, but sometimes in the mornings I don’t really want to eat something that tastes like candy when I amd drinking coffee and having breakfast. I do love of candy probable way too much, but don’t always want it first thing in the morning, which is typically when I take my vitamins and other supplements. I like these capsules because each one provides 325 mg of elderberry which is a good amount, and the suggested dosage to take is only one per day, which means this bottle will last me two months. I would describe the capsule size as medium; they are not too big or too small and I do not have any problems swallowing them. I also do not experience any taste or digestive issues after taking them. The elderberry inside the capsules has a purple color which is indicative of a good product.I am pleased with these BioActibveb elderberry supplements and consider them one important step I am taking this winter to try to stay as well as possible.

Great Way to Get Elderberry On the Go

I like to take elderberry in the fall and winter, but sometimes on the go, it is hard to drag a bottle of extract with me. These capsules make it much easier to take on the go.CAPSULESThe capsules are pretty standard sized. They are filled with purple powder.EASY TO SWALLOW?These are not difficult for me to swallow.ANY PROBLEMS?I have had no issues with burping, headaches, or digestion taking these, but I HIGHLY recommend taking them with a full glass of water. They are absorbed better.DO THEY HELP?That is a difficult question to answer when taking preventative supplements.
