    This is a good product at a fair price I notice when I don’t have it my mood swings downward I’ve been taking 5htp for couple years so I kno when I don’t take it I’m off balance it keeps my serotonin levels up n that keeps my mood up

    I have purchased my third bottle of Bestvite 5-HTP in the past few months. The product is of a good value, and many users should notice a significant improvement in their mental well being as I have.

    Are these really 5-htp? I’ve been taking this for a long while now, and from 3 or 4 different brands, and these capsules are small for 200 mg. They’re smaller than the 100 mg capsules I used to take. And while I can’t yet be certain that it’s related, since I started taking these I haven’t felt well, I’ve experienced some headaches (not usual for me), and my depression and anxiety have been noticeably worse. Again, I can’t be 100% certain these 5-htp are the cause. All I know is if I weren’t broke I would be ordering the brand I usually take and throwing these out. I guess shame on me for trying to save a few bucks.

    Great at night for sleep.

    Nice and effective. Some people take this in the morning for mood enhancement, but they make me VERY sleepy, so I take 2 capsules at night, about an hour before bed. Body turns then into melatonin – conk.
