Warning: AGGRESSIVELY BITTER. This very likely confirms high concentration of neem leaf powder, and a good deal of active limonoids. Bitter is what you are wanting. If you can’t do bitter, then find a capsule formulation, not this powder. It is very unpalatable, but you can over come that if you have the will and a decent strategy.I did take about 3/4 of a star for the serving size on the talking about “1 scoop” but there’s no enclosed pre-sized scoop and I had to figure it with a digital scale, which I did have on hand (roughly 1/2 tsp). It did not blend well into water when I tried that the first day, so the second day I measured into a spoon took it as powder and chased it with several liquids. Again, I have a pretty strong sense of taste and it was extremely bitter, but this got the taste cleared the fastest for me. I started with the bitter powder, then 3 sequential shots of water, then a mildly sweet liquid (in my case arjuna extract) and finished it off with a shot of apple cider vinegar which I did a quick swish with.This container has about an 7.5 month supply at 227 1g doses (which is about 1/2 tsp (teaspoon) ) which is a bunch of doses for the price.The packaging is double bagged for keeping the powder dry, and I resealed in the original bag (inner one requires your own bag sealing clips, another minor loss there, but not worth taking a star, just cost the other 1/4 from before).I imagine it *might* work in a smoothie, but it is so strongly bitter that I prefer to just get it over with and then have a nice smoothie instead of have a bitter smoothy.I cannot test the GF or Vegan aspects, but I can’t see any evidence that it’s anything but green leaf powder in my supplied bag. The powder is not clumped and is uniformly very fine with no inclusions.

Seems like good quality powder and the cancer warning appears to be a California Prop 65 thing
I was very concerned about the cancer warning others have mentioned when I first saw it on the label but from what I understand California requires Prop 65 warnings on a huge range of natural products and herbs including neem which is why I am still willing to give this a chance and I am glad I did. The powder itself tastes correct and seems like good quality it is finely ground has that characteristic earthy neem scent and mixes smoothly into water and face masks without clumping. It is certified USDA organic gluten free non GMO and vegan which checks all the boxes for me and the 227 gram size is generous for the price. I have been using it for skin care and oral health routines and so far I am happy with the results and feel confident in the purity of the product. If the warning gave you pause like it did for me just know it seems to be a standard California labeling requirement rather than a red flag about this specific brand.

Great, if you can tolerate it… check first!
Please make sure you can tolerate Neem before using it in large quantities!I am good with it, I’ve tried it orally in the past but only in test quantities. I like it better for skin care, pest control, and as a mild disinfectant.I prefer the powder because I carry a little container of it with me and I can add water as needed for whatever I’m using it for.It works really well for keeping bugs away and I like it for my plants. Anything available in food grade, I get food grade because then it’s safe to consume, so this is available to me in myriad ways and I don’t have to worry about whether it’s safe to ingest on fruits and vegetables I grow.It’s about average for the price, though again, I do food grade and that adds value for me.

Somewhat Bitter Tasting Energy Powder
It seems to me that most things that are healthy for human consumption generally do not taste great, and that fact seems amply demonstrated in this Best Naturals Certified USDA Organic Neem Powder. It comes sealed in an outer bag. Opening the outer bag reveals yet another transparent bag within which the fine, green powder is contained. There is no discernible smell.The instructions on how best to use this product is somewhat vague. Best Naturals indicates that serving size is one scoop. But one scoop of what? There is no included spoon for precise measurements. I assumed that it is one scoop of a regular spoon. While Best Naturals indicates that this powder can be mixed with smoothies, shakes or water, it does not indicate what size is best (for example, one cup of water to be mixed with one scoop of this product).In any case, I mixed the powder with some water in order to try this product. The powder did dissolve. Mostly. But I did not like the taste at all. To be fair, Best Naturals does indicate that this Neem Powder is unflavored. This is not a product that I would use with plain water. It would be ideal with smoothies or shakes to mask the somewhat bitter taste. Although taste, it must be acknowledged, is a subjective consideration. Also irritating is that the actual bag containing the green powder has no contraption – like a Ziploc bag for example – for resealing the powder once opened.

NO type of lot # on inner product bag and an undisclosed P65 warning make this a fail.
I use neem oil for my face. I have extremely mild adult acne…maybe a pimple every month…and neem oil has helped to clear them up super fast. I had no idea there was an ingestable neem powder until this NEEM POWDER from BEST NATURALS popped up. I did some research on the potential benefits of neem powder and decided to order it.This is a half pound bag with a recommended serving of 1 scoop for 227 servings. There is no scoop supplied so to be accurate you need to pull out a scale. FAIL on that. Anything that is not easily measurable should have a scoop supplied.Lot # date of manufacture…07/2025 and date of expiration….06/2028 stamped on back of package by supplement facts. It is 7/2026 so this product is already a year old. Yes I understand this still has two years left till expiration but I do wonder where this product has sat for a year.The powder is milled extremely fine.I am not going to be trying this supplement. Due to this I have no idea how this tastes. I also can not speak to its effectiveness …although research shows this would be more of a running in the background type of supplement and here is why.I like BEST NATURAL supplements and one has been my tried and true for several years. I expect and will only take supplements that use cGMP and are third party tested and BEST NATURALS does that….HOWEVER with this product when I open the bag there is a second clear sealed bag inside which has the powder in it. There are no lot numbers on that bag anywhere. While Best Naturals is upfront in their listing that this product is from India I would expect to see something on the package that holds the product that could be verified by a COA or some type of third party test results. That does not instill confidence in this product. I have no idea if this is free from toxins like mold or heavy metals. While the outer package does show GMP and USDA organic I still have my reservations with this.The second issue I have with this need powder is I find it disingenuous that stuck on this bag is a P65 warning and that is not noted anywhere in the listing. Now let me be clear. I believe CA has went too far with things that do get a P65 warning BUT this truly should have been disclosed in the listing. I firmly believe in transparency when it comes to supplements and on this one I feel BEST NATURALS dropped the ball.HAD this have been better packaged with better disclosure I would say price wise it’s a great value as is I can not do that…sigh.This is the first Best Naturals product I have ever received where I have given it less than 4-5 stars but on this I feel it has more than earned its one star rating.
