A bit cautious with this brand
This review is for the Magnesium glycinate, 200 mg capsules. The bottle indicates this is made in the USA. The bottle does not indicate where this supplement is sourced. The brand also does not indicate who the true manufacture is of the supplement. “Distributed by” does not mean the same as made by or manufactured by. I could not locate any third-party or GMP certifications. One thing of concern is a suit in California regarding this brand. I contacted the brand and ask for their certification and the brand provided that information. That COA indicated that this brand is indeed manufactured in the US and has been tested. The manufacturer is in an FDA database and although there have been some issues about 10 years ago with this brand’s manufacturing processes, has not had any recent inspection issues.The bottle was double sealed with an inner and outer seal on and inside the lid. These supplements are clear standard sized capsules with the white powder inside, which is typical of magnesium supplements.These capsules contain a much lower daily amount than many other brands, with 2 capsules containing 200 mgs, 50 percent of the daily allowance, meaning this is a 45-day supply or less if you want closer to 100 percent daily allowance. This brand is a bit cheaper at 10 bucks per bottle.I use the Glycinate version of Magnesium because it is better absorbing than most other Magnesium versions. These capsules are standard size, so they are easy to take and similar to most magnesium supplements. The supplements do not bother my stomach. For me, I use Magnesium prior to bedtime for better rest. The lower daily percentage means more capsules used daily though. I will update my review with any issues.It appears that this brand and manufacturer have had issues with supplements previously but appears to be not had any recent issues. However, there willingness to provide a COA showing their testing and manufacturing information makes me a bit more comfortable with taking this brand, but with the past issues, I will be cautious with and regularly check for any new issues with this brand. The supplement is cheaper than some brands but the lower percentage of magnesium per supplement compared to other brands is the reason why.3 stars

I recently ordered the Best Naturals Liposomal Magnesium. The bottle arrived quickly and was properly sealed with both a neck band and a pressure-sealed inner lid, which I appreciate for quality assurance.The pills are a good size and I found them easy to swallow with water. There was no noticeable taste or smell, making them simple to take as part of my daily routine. This is an excellent way to get your extra magnesium. I take mine before sleep, preferably with an acidic food or drink to enhance absorption.The label clearly lists all ingredients, and the manufacturing/expiration dates are easy to find on the bottle.

Seems to Work Well
I thought these would be dissolving tablets since it says liposomal, because all the supplements I have ever had that said that were either liquid or dissolved…so I looked it up and found out that liposomal means:“means an active ingredient, vitamin, or drug is wrapped inside a tiny fat-like particle called a liposome. These microscopic bubbles protect the enclosed substance from harsh stomach acids and help the body absorb it more easily“Anyhow, these are clear capsules, the fat must be in the gelatin. The capsules are pretty regularly sized. I didn’t have trouble swallowing them.Also note-these say “quality assured” not third party tested. Quality Assured seems ambiguous…That said, I have tried so many magnesium supplements. I have tried the kind you spray on. I have tried other glycinates. I have never noticed enough of a difference in my sleep to buy a second bottle. I have not had these long enough to truly know if it’s any different. I will say I took it last night and I did sleep very well and woke up refreshed this morning. Not drowsy or weird.Yesterday was also the first day I took a higher dose of my ADHD meds and anticipated sleep difficulties and had none.Many of us are deficient in magnesium and could use a good supplement, I just haven’t found one yet I felt did much in the sleep dept. This one did a good job.I will come back and update if anything changes.The print on the back is tiny. I had to use the magnifier on my phone to see it says take two morning or evening daily.

Less Expensive Than My normal Brand but Unsure About the Liposomal Formulation
Best Naturals is known for being a budget friendly line of supplements, so I decided to give it a try to compare to my usual brand. For about $10 you get a 30 day supply. I normally only take it in the late evening because Magnesium Glycinate typically leaves me feeling a little foggy during the day, so this is more like a 2 month supply for me.I didn’t get the same results with this as I do my usual brand but it was okay. The label claims to be a liposomal form but I’m having a difficult time verifying that. Usually liposomal formulations list the magnesium as chelated or include sunflower lecithin as an ingredient. While lecithin is listed in other ingredients, it’s a dry powder form of it. It is still possible that dry lecithin be used as a liposomal delivery method but usually only if it was freeze dried. Normally that would be clearly labelled on the bottle. One way to tell is to rub the powder between your fingers to check for a waxy feel but, after doing so, I didn’t notice that. I did feel a little stickiness but I can’t say for sure what ingredient is responsible for that. Since I can’t say for sure I don’t feel comfortable giving this a full 5 stars. I will say I did experience some of the same effects that I get with my usual brand but not as potent.

Works Great for Sleep and Muscle Cramps
I grabbed this because the price was so good, and it ended up working even better. The capsules are easy to take, and the 200 mg dose is perfect. It’s also made in the USA, GMP quality, non-GMO and provides 45 servings.I use magnesium mainly for sleep support and to keep away the muscle cramps I’m prone to, and this has helped with both. I fall asleep easier, stay asleep longer, and those annoying leg cramps I used to get at night have basically disappeared. No stomach issues either, which is a nice change from other magnesium types I’ve tried.For the cost, it’s honestly a solid supplement. It does what it’s supposed to do, and I’ve had good results with it.

I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate regularly for cognitive support, and like how this supplement uses chelated magnesium glycinate because it’s known for being one of the more absorbable forms, so it’s always the one I look for.I appreciate that this uses liposomal delivery because it’s designed to support better nutrient protection and absorption, so my body can get the most out of the ingredients.I also like that they included black pepper extract, which is known for supporting better absorption. Seeing it paired with magnesium glycinate, which is highly bioavailable, feels like a smart addition to help support how well the body uses it. East to absorb magnesium glycinate
I started taking magnesium to help with muscle aches. This bottle should last me a while as it includes 90 pills. The serving size is 2/day (total of 200mg magnesium) but I usually just take 1.The other good thing is this is made with magnesium glycinate rather than magnesium citrate so it’s easier on your tummy and won’t have the laxative affect that the other kind can have.It also includes 10mg of black pepper extract to aid absorption but you should check with your doctor if you take other meds since it can affect that.The bottle came with a protective safety seal and cotton stuffing to prevent damage to the capsules.

No third party testing + low dosing amount+ nothing denoting this is liposomal= a fail for me.
I take magnesium glycinate daily and have done so for around four years. I also have one tried and true supplement I have been taking for around 4-5 years that is made by best naturals so when I saw this liposomal magnesium glycinate from BEST NATURALS I definitely wanted to try it.Bottle contains 90 capsules with a recommended dose of two capsules per day…so a 45 day supply.There is no smell when opening the bottle.Lot# and date of expiration….02/2029…stamped on label.Capsules are of average size.Ingredients are individually listed. The addition of black pepper is nice as it is supposed to help with absorption.I will not be trying / taking this and here is why.Liposomal is listed on the label yet checking the ingredients when glycinate is liposomal….easier to absorb…it is denoted as chelated, or as bisglycinate. This label only says glycinate which is no different than regular glycinate. I personally notice no difference if I take regular or chelated or liposomal / call it what you will glycinate but if it is listed as such on the label it should be noted as such in the ingredient facts.I see this as a very low dose magnesium. Basically half of what is kind of the norm. So if you wanted to take the norm for dosing this would be four capsules per day. Two capsules for the low dose amount is one too many in the first place I feel.Lastly….the supplement I take by best naturals is third party tested. Nowhere on this bottle or in the listing is there any mention of any type of third party testing. While GMP is shown I am one who does not take supplements that are not verified third party tested. I’ve got to say I’m a little surprised as I thought BEST NATURALS third party tested all their products. Guess I was wrong.I want/ expect that third party testing so I am assured that dosing amounts are accurate and that what I am ingesting is free from toxins like mold and heavy metals.While the price is more than reasonable it does not negate the above mentioned issues I have.This one for me is a total fail and I hope BEST NATURALS is not going to stop third party testing. IF they did do third party testing on this it would at best be three stars…lack of break down of magnesium on the supplement facts and low dosing. As is I can give this one no better than two stars. I am quite disappointed with this product from them.
