I’m glad to have this supplement

This supplement contains Hibiscus Flower Extract 10:1, which the label says is equivalent to 2500 mg of hibiscus flower powder. The 10:1 extract ratio means that ten parts of dried hibiscus flowers were processed and concentrated to create one part of the final extract in the bottle. That means that you can get a much higher dose of the active compounds in hibiscus (polyphenols, flavonoids and antioxidants) in a much smaller serving size (in this case a capsule) than you would have to take to get the equivalent dose by taking raw, dried hibiscus flowers. The “other ingredients” in this supplement are: capsule (vegetable cellulose), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.I like what isn’t in this supplement, too: its listing (and label) says that it is free of artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners, and is also free of preservatives, genetically modified organisms, sugar, milk, corn, soy, egg, lactose, gluten, wheat, yeast, fish, and sodium.I also like that it is manufactured in the USA (in New Jersey). Another plus is that its label has a stamp that declares that it is manufactured in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). The listing also says that it is manufactured in an FDA registered facility. Of course, the registration with the FDA doesn’t really mean that much to me, since just registering with the FDA doesn’t confer any guarantee of quality or purity. The GMP stamp means more to me, especially since the label says that the supplement is third party tested, which gives me more confidence in the product. They don’t list what company or lab that third party is, though, and I would prefer it if they specified that information. But, all in all, I feel comfortable with this product, based on that information and also because I’ve heard good things about this brand.Sensibly, this supplement’s listing doesn’t make any health claims, saving them the trouble of having to post the usual disclaimer that, “this statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.”So, since it didn’t specify it on the listing page, I wanted to know what a hibiscus supplement could perhaps do for me, so I looked it up on PubMed Central (PMC) on the NIH (National Institute of Health) website. I read there that a 10:1 hibiscus extract is a source of polyphenols, anthocyanins, and Vitamin C, and that these nutrients can help support heart health, skin elasiticity, and maybe reduce oxidative stress (oxidative stress being an imbalance between unstable molecules in our bodies, called free radicals, and the antioxidant defenses in our bodies, which can lead to cellular and tissue damage).Since I often don’t get enough fruits and vegetables in my diet, those are nutrients I can really use, so I thought I’d try this supplement. I’ve only had it for a little over a week, so I can’t say if I’ll derive any of those benefits yet. In fact, I may never be able to say for certain that it’s been of benefit to me. But, I know that I need those nutrients, just to maintain health, and it’s a comfort to me to know that on days I don’t eat enough fruit to get them through my diet, that I’ve got this as a backup to get those important nutrients into my body. Of course, again, not being a doctor or scientist, I can’t verify the accuracy of any of the information I read, but it was sufficient for me to want to try this hibiscus supplement.I’m being careful to only take the one recommended capsule per day, since I read on the Healthline website, that prolonged intake of high-dose hibiscus extracts can possibly pose a risk to liver health. I don’t know if that’s true, but I don’t want to take any chances, and, in any case, it doesn’t seem wise to exceed any manufacturer’s recommended dosage. The current price on Amazon for this supplement is $9.99 for 120 capsules. With a recommended daily dose of one capsule that makes it a 120 day supply. With tax in my area (tax in your area will likely vary) the total cost is about $10.90. So that’s a cost of about 9 cents per day. That seems like a very moderate, reasonable price to me, so I’d say that this supplement is a good value.

High Potency and Great Value, Gentle on Sensitive Stomachs

I have been looking for a way to naturally support my immune system and digestion. I have always preferred clean, botanical ingredients for my wellness routines, so I decided to give this Best Naturals Hibiscus 10:1 extract a try. Since it is a relatively new product with very few reviews, I was a bit hesitant at first. I knew going in that botanical supplements like this take time to build up in your system, and it definitely requires a few weeks of consistent daily use before you start noticing tangible improvements in digestive comfort and overall immune resilience. The potency of this supplement is genuinely impressive. Each serving delivers a 2,500mg equivalent through a highly concentrated 10:1 extract ratio. The vegetable cellulose capsules are comfortably small, making them incredibly easy to swallow, and they are completely unflavored with absolutely no odd smell or weird aftertaste. While the ingredient list does include common fillers like silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate, they did not cause me any issues. Given how sensitive my skin and stomach can be to new products, I was incredibly relieved to experience zero internal sensitivity or skin reactions while taking these. The single-capsule serving size is very convenient, though you have the flexibility to adjust the dosage if you feel your body needs a stronger amount to see faster blood pressure or antioxidant results. What really sold me on this brand is the overall purity and manufacturing transparency. The label clearly states it is third-party lab tested, non-GMO, and free of artificial colors, soy, gluten, dairy, egg, and corn. Knowing that it is produced in an FDA-registered, GMP-compliant facility right in the USA adds a massive layer of trust and confidence in the clean label. From a cost perspective, this is an exceptional value, especially if you are trying to balance a strict budget. At roughly ten dollars for a bottle of 120 capsules, a single purchase easily covers up to four months of daily use. The bottle itself is well-sealed, easy to open, and keeps the capsules perfectly fresh.

Great addition to my daily routine

The Best Naturals Hibiscus 10:1 Extract capsules are a convenient way to add hibiscus extract to a daily supplement routine. The capsules are easy to take, and having 120 in the bottle is nice since it means I don’t have to reorder frequently. The bottle is compact and easy to store as well. Overall, it seems like a straightforward option for anyone looking for hibiscus extract in capsule form.

Trusted brand! So many potential benefits of Hibiscus extract. Recommended.Trusted brand! So many potential benefits of Hibiscus extract. Recommended.

Hibiscus extract is a new to me supplement. I’ve got a jacked lower back and recent x-rays show arthritis. Oh wonderful < heavy on the sarcasm there> I was searching supplements that help with inflammation and Hibiscus popped up. Of course I went on a deep dive as I always do when researching a potential new supplement. WOW did I find quite a bit of information and the purported benefits of Hibiscus extract using webmd, pubmed and various other sites like that so when this Hibiscus extract from BEST NATURALS came up when searching I happily hit order.Bottle comes with 120 capsules and a recommended dose of one capsule per day…so this is a very generous four month serving.Lot # and date of expiration printed on the label. There is no smell when opening the bottle.Capsules are smaller than average. It really does not get any easier that that. One little capsule a day.For a single capsule I feel the dosing is excellent with a 10:1 extract. As with any new supplement I ALWAYS check to make sure the new supplement will not interact with what I am currently taking. In this case I already use turmeric as it helps with inflammation so my hope was this hibiscus extract would be another layer to help. I was happy to see I can take them both together.I have been taking this for twelve days now and have experienced no side effects at all. And because it’s a capsule…which I tend to prefer….I do not have to worry about any type of taste. Of course with a supplement like this…especially when dealing with inflammation…I know that it takes time. In my case it might take three to four months before I see results. I am FINE with that. Especially at the price point. Heck I’ll gladly continue even IF it doesn’t help as the other potential health benefits are there. And while I have no other health issues that hibiscus extract is purported to help it can’t hurt me long term.I like and trust BEST NATURALS. I have one supplement I have been taking for four years now and it is made by them. cGMP and third party testing is mandatory for me. It assures me that the ingredients are at the levels listed and it is free from impurities such as mold and heavy metals. In my research….and PLEASE do your research or speak to your doctor as there are things it should not be taken with/ for…I believe this is a sleeper supplement and by that I mean not enough people know about the potential benefits from it.Will I recommend it? Absolutely! And give it the five star rating I feel it deserves.

May help to lower blood pressureMay help to lower blood pressure

This supplement is made in the USA in a cGMP-compliant facility, which is reassuring when it comes to manufacturing standards. The bottle also states that it is 3rd party tested. However, after doing some research, I couldn’t find any information about which independent company performed the testing. There is also no recognizable certification seal on the bottle, just a generic “3rd party tested” logo. I wish the company was more transparent about this.I purchased this supplement in hopes that it might help lower my borderline blood pressure. Since I’ve only recently started taking it, it’s too soon to know whether it’s effective, but I plan to continue using it for a while and see if it makes a difference. Hibiscus also has other health benefits, which I would suggest anyone looking into taking it, should do some research on it’s benefits. One downside is that the formula contains a few filler ingredients. I generally prefer supplements with the fewest possible inactive ingredients. That said, the price is reasonable, and I’ve found that products with cleaner formulations often cost significantly more. Overall, I’m hopeful it will provide the benefits I’m looking for over time.

Brand I trust, great antioxidants, what’s not to love?Brand I trust, great antioxidants, what’s not to love?

Hibiscus possibly offers some really great health benefits from fighting oxidative stress to liver protection to reducing high blood pressure and high cholesterol. For the antioxidants alone, I wanted to try this Best Naturals Hibiscus 10:1 Extract, though the other factors are bonuses. I’ve used other Best Naturals supplements, and it’s a brand that’s been reliable for me so I trust them. This supplement comes in a 120 capsule size, lasting about 4 months. At $9.99, that’s an excellent value for the money. One capsule needs to be taken daily, preferably with a meal. The capsules are average size and easy to take. I don’t notice a taste or smell to them, and I absolutely love that they are single active ingredient capsules. I already take plenty of other supplements, and I don’t want to overdo other vitamins and minerals. In terms of effectiveness, I’m not sure I’ve noticed any changes yet, but many supplements take several weeks to take effect. I haven’t had any negative side effects, hence the five stars.

Easy to swallow capsule made in the USAEasy to swallow capsule made in the USA

My 90+ year old mama lives with me and we order a LOT of supplements! Neither of us have ever tried Hibiscus – except in tea form – so we were excited to give this supplement from Best Naturals a try! There are certain aspects we look at before ordering:1). Price: Coming in at under $10 a bottle, if taken as directed, the bottle should last you 4 months! Win!2) Swallowability: There’s nothing worse than trying to take a pill that’s too big. These capsules are actually quite small and easy to get down. Not weird aftertaste or aftertaste either. WIN!3) WHERE are they manufactured: I cannot tell you how much time I spend trying to figure out where companies manufacture its supplements. Many do not list that info on the bottle, the information page and even the website! This company provides that info right on the bottle – MADE IN THE USA in an FDA registered facility! WIN!4) Hype: And lastly, do the results actually live up to the claims and hype? Because we just started taking this product, we cannot say one way or the other if this works but fingers and toes crossed! For that reason, this product gets 4 out of 5 stars.
