This is a vegan friendly berberine supplement. the capsules are rather large in size so if you have trouble swallowing these are not for you. You can open the capsules and sprinkle them with food but it probably won’t taste that good.As long as you can swallow the capsules this works as expected. I use this for its digestive benefits but it can help with blood sugar control. It’s easy to take with meals daily. It seems to be effective and the ingredients include real berberine.A serving size is one capsule.

This is probably one of the fanciest supplements I’ve ever received! It arrived in a really nice gift box, and I immediately felt like I was taking a supplement that belonged in a VIP or celebrity’s supplement cabinet, even though it’s actually very affordably priced.I’m really into supplements, but I’ve only recently started looking into berberine, and I decided it was something I wanted to add to my already crowded supplement routine. What I especially like about this particular berberine supplement is the way the dosage is set up. I prefer taking 500 mg twice a day with meals, and each capsule contains exactly 500 mg, so it fits perfectly into the way I like to take it. Having the serving size be just one capsule also makes it really easy to keep up with.Another big plus is that there are 120 capsules in the bottle. Even with taking two capsules a day, that gives me a two-month supply, which I really appreciate.The capsules also don’t have a strong odor or flavor, which is a definite bonus for me. Supplements can be difficult to review because the effects are often subjective, but I gave this one a fair trial. I took the recommended single dose about 20 minutes before my first meal, which is usually lunch. During the first few days I had some stomach upset, although I can’t say for sure that it was related to the berberine.After taking it for a while, I did notice that I seemed to stay satiated longer after lunch, although by dinner I was usually ravenous again. I did a little research and started taking one dose before each of my two meals, and that seems to be more effective for me.I don’t have a way to measure my blood sugar, and I don’t have any particular blood-sugar sensitivity, so I can’t really comment on that aspect. I also wouldn’t call this some kind of GLP-1 miracle supplement. With some discipline, though, I think it may help with appetite and overall eating habits.One thing I can definitely review is the packaging. The box this came in was ridiculously nice and everything was packaged extremely well. I felt like baby Jesus receiving gifts when I opened it.

I did not notice any bad odor or aftertaste. I have not yet experienced any side effects. Serving size is one capsule daily, and there are 120 servings in the bottle.
