I’ve been interested in berberine for a while, so I decided to give this one a try. What caught my attention is that it’s more than just a basic berberine capsule. The formula combines 500 mg of berberine with Ceylon cinnamon, chromium, alpha-lipoic acid, and BioPerine.I like having the additional ingredients included rather than taking several different bottles to get the same combination. The capsules are easy enough to take, and the 60-count bottle gives you a 30-day supply when following the two-capsule serving.I’m also glad the amounts of the individual ingredients are actually listed rather than hiding everything behind a proprietary blend. That’s something I look for with supplements because I want to know exactly what I’m taking.As far as results go, I’m keeping my expectations realistic. Berberine has some legitimate research behind it, particularly regarding metabolic health, but I’m not expecting these capsules to magically fix blood sugar, cholesterol, or weight. Supplements aren’t a substitute for eating well and staying active.So far, I like the overall concept of this formula. These extra ingredients help the berberine be more bio available and gentle on your stomach.Berberine activates an enzyme called AMPK, which helps regulate metabolism and lower blood sugar and A1C levels similarly to some prescription diabetes medications.It also lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides by helping the liver clear particles from the bloodstream.The real quality of these supplements shows up in the area of validation of ingredients because you sometimes don’t really know if what the label says is in the product. These are GMP certified which means Good Manufacturing Practices set by the FDA and others. It is also third party tested. An independent, unbiased laboratory with no financial ties to the manufacturer evaluates a product to verify its label accuracy, potency, and purity. You know these are the real deal!

Good for the blood sugar!
I like the way this formula is put together. It’s not just berberine by itself, you’re also getting Ceylon cinnamon, chromium, alpha lipoic acid. I especially like that the individual amounts are listed instead of everything being thrown into a proprietary blend, I always pass on the proprietary blend supplements since you have no idea what you are taking. The capsules are easy enough to take and two a day with a meal is pretty simple to work into a routine. The 60 count bottle gives you a full month supply, which is about what I expect from a supplement like this. I have been taking Metformin for a couple years and although it is cheaper than this I wanted to try something that is a little more natural that apparently does the same thing as the pharmaceutical. Overall, I think this is a well thought out formula and a good option if you’re looking for more than just a basic berberine capsule and want to try something outside of Pharma.

Berberine is awesome at crushing midday hunger and helping with blood sugar. I love VIVI Youth
I truly believe in Berberine – it’s amazing. My husband started taking it, too, and he was surprised in the difference it makes in that nonsense hunger that hits in mid-afternoon. There’s a reason that it’s got a nickname of “nature’s GLP-1” because it really does help with weight loss. To get all technical about it, it triggers an enzyme called AMPK which is amazing and if you have a moment you should read up on it. It’s all about metabolism and energy. VIVI Youth Berberine contains 500mg of Berberine which, for me, is a perfect amount. If you take one with a ton of Berberine in it, you might end up duckwalking to the bathroom like the old lady in Dante’s Peak in that acid lake, groans and all. But 500mg is a nice, gentle amount and they even included some great additions like Chromium Picolinate and Ceylon Cinnamon (those have been heavy hitters in weight loss and blood sugar supplements forever), and Alpha-Lipoic Acid which helps convert food into energy. They round it out with Black Pepper Extract which makes vitamins, minerals and supplements more bioavailable to the body (that’s why you’ll see it in SO many supplements), plus it’s got its own benefits. This has been super gentle on my stomach and I’m still enjoying peace and quiet from mid-afternoon cravings.I love VIVI Youth and I’ve used a ton of their supplements. Their products are all geared toward women’s health, and they all work so great together. Everything I’ve used from them has been easy to take and hasn’t’ ever caused tummy upset or nuclear gas. They make their supplements in an FDA-registered facility with 3rd party testing and everything you order from them shows up safety sealed to the hilt. Plus, they have a really good website with tons of info, which is sometimes rare in the supplement world.

As a middle-aged woman who is also a type 1 diabetic, I am always looking for ways to support my metabolism and help keep my blood sugar more stable. My doctor recommended that I try berberine, so I decided to give this brand a try.I was intrigued that this formula also contains ceylon cinnamon, chromium, and black pepper extract. The tablets don’t expire until April 2029, so they are very fresh. The serving size is two capsules, and there are 60 capsules in the bottle, making this a one-month supply.I also appreciate that these are GMP certified, non-GMO, gluten-free, and third-party tested. Those are all things I look for when choosing supplements.I have been taking two capsules before dinner each night and have been happy with the results so far. They have been gentle on my stomach, and I have noticed that my continuous glucose monitor seems to show a slightly flatter glucose line since I started taking them. I can’t say for certain how much of that is due to this supplement, but I do feel like it may be helping with my blood sugar stability.As far as metabolism, I can’t really say that I’ve noticed a measurable difference yet. For supplement products, due to the fact that they are so unregulated in the US, I always like to check for a few things like is there any information about where it was manufactured, any information about 3rd party testing and how many capsules, scoops or servings per recommended daily dose to translate to a total number of doses instead of just overall count.This product states that it is NSF 3rd party tested and actually has a Certificate of Analysis listed for the contamination testing (they indicate the whole report can be requested). But generally that is a very good sign. I couldn’t find the stated location of production although the distribution company seems to be in the US but the registered owner is from China. That gives a little pause but the testing information makes me feel better about that overall.The recommended dose is 2 capsules for 30 doses. This gives 500mg berberine, chromium, cinnamon extract, ALA and bioperine. This blend is supposed to help metabolic health and weight support.They are easy to take and I didn’t notice any unpleasant reactions or side effects so far. It is hard to say if I can tell any specific positive benefits at this time having taken it for a while but these effects can be difficult for me to notice. Pricewise, this seems a bit more expensive than some options so moderate value but at least more transparent about testing.

The older I get, the more supplements I’ve been taking to help with my overall wellness. There are so many wonderful benefits regarding the ingredients in these supplements especially for my specific health issues. These capsules are similar in size to the current ones I usually take so consuming them was not an issue. I didn’t notice any negative side effects while taking these which is a definite plus when starting new supplements. There hasn’t been any major difference in energy or gut health, but I also haven’t used them for that long. These are reasonably priced compared to similar brands so I’m hopeful they’ll help regulate my body moving forward.

I’ve been pleased with this Berberine with Ceylon Cinnamon formula so far. I like that it combines Berberine HCl with Ceylon cinnamon, chromium, Alpha-Lipoic acid, and BioPerine rather than relying on a single ingredient, and the doses are clearly listed instead of being hidden in a proprietary blend. The capsules are easy to take and tolerate with zero side effects thus far. Neutral taste. Neutral smell. No color anomalies to report. They have fit smoothly into my daily routine. I appreciate the non-GMO, gluten-free formulation and the fact that the product is third-party tested and made in a GMP-certified facility. I’m not expecting dramatic overnight changes from any supplement, but the thoughtful ingredient combination, good tolerability, clear labeling, and overall quality make this feel like a solid value for money expended and a product I’m comfortable continuing to use. Five stars for perceived initial quality!
