Berberine works for me
I’ve become a big fan of Berberine. I first stumbled onto it when I saw a social media post mentioning the benefits, with its effects on blood sugar being what caught my eye, given the fact that my last annual checkup showed that my A1C was pre-diabetic. I measured my blood sugar in the morning and two hours after lunch daily for several weeks before beginning to take Berberine, and then continued to test once I started taking it.My AM (fasting) blood sugar did not change, but my average post-meal measurements did drop noticeably, being about 15% lower. I’m seeing continued similar results with this product, and I’ll find out at my next checkup in December whether or not this translates to a lower A1C.I appreciate that it’s a good value, with 180 capsules included, as well as a bonus smaller bottle of multivitamins.

Great for Heart and Gut health
Berberine is a bioactive compound found in various plants, including barberry and goldenseal. I have been taking it for 3 months now. I was interested in possible blood sugar and cholesterol regulation benefits along with other cardiovascular wellness. Adding Berberine helped with digestion. Before this I had constipation on a weekly basis. Along with adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet I’ve added this and other supplements.I take the recommended daily dosage after lunch. The capsules are easy to swallow without any odors. No stomach discomfort either. The biggest difference I am noticing daily now is my appetite increase. For years I haven’t really been too hungry come morning times, which is why I typically skip breakfast. In the last 2 months or so I am feeling this hunger around 9-10am daily and consistently.

Well rounded berberine supplement at a great price
I switched to this berberine because it is not only substantially less expensive than the one I had been using, but also is a well-rounded supplement. It has 600 mg of berberine compared to my prior one, which had 500. This also contains additional amounts of cinnamon and magnesium, already a part of my supplement routine. I’m not as familiar with the other contents, but the proof is in the pudding. I feel like this is a more effective supplement and love that a bottle is a six-month supply. The included 30 capsule supply of the everyday vitality supplement is a nice bonus.

I wanted to bring in berberine as support for heart health and blood glucose regulation.This supplement has the typical dosage of berberine and other helpful ingredients such as cinnamon. The capsules are easy to take and you can work into a supplement rotation. I have seen some improvement in my blood glucose and energy levels as I expected.This is worth a look with it being a competitively priced option for a supplement for overall health.

Has 600mg of berberine
This berberine supplement contains 600mg of Berberine adding in complementary supplements to make up the 1000mg per capsules. So make a note that it is not 1000mg of berberine. I do like the additions they added though. I always like to take my Berberine with Cinnamon, Gymnema Sylvestre and Chromium and this includes all of those in reasonably proportionate amounts. I also like that this is lipsomal for better absorption, it’s something I always look for when it is available and is generally a sign of a more superior product in my opinion. The capsule size is slightly smaller than what I think of as the typical capsule size. The capsules seem consistently filled, and there were no open capsules in the bottle. This also came with a bonus gift of their Everyday Vitality capsules, which were also in a smaller than average capsule size. It wasn’t immediately obvious to my why I would want to take them because most of the supplements in it seem to be less than I would find in my multivitamin. But I think the point is the Ashwaganda and CoQ10 which are in reasonable amounts. Anyway it’s a nice bonus and I do think it is complementary to the Berberine, but I doubt I would buy it separately.

A lower dosage than I am used to but time will tell if I stick with this brand
I have been taking Berberine for several months. I do not know if there are benefits in taking it but along with my low-sugar/carb diet I have lost weight while taking it with no side effects. One thing that confuses me with this brand is it says 1 per day and this is a lower dosage per pill of Berberine where I was instructed to take 2 per day with my prior brand. Taking less and less often doesn’t seem right so time will tell if I switch back to my other brand.This one did come with a bonus of 30 daily all-purpose vitamins. The all-purpose vitamin is a brown capsule. The berberine is a bright yellow capsule. I have taken both today and do not feel any differently now than before I took it.Its very difficult to accurately rate vitamins since you have to have something to compare them to. I am rating this one on the fact it is less Berberine than other brands – taken less often may even that out but I don’t understand how taking less…less often is a win win.
