Good Fiber Source With Thick Texture When Dissolved
This fiber powder comes in a one pound tub containing 45 servings of two teaspoons and 25 calories each. The powder is tan in color, and unflavored. The powder is a fine grind, and dissolves easily in liquid. I have tried this powder in water and in coffee. I do not like it mixed in water, as the unflavored fiber powder adds enough earthiness to make the drink taste unpleasant. Even in coffee, I need to put another flavored component in the drink to make it palatable. The powder also adds a thickness, which may be more noticeable to those with texture sensitivities. When mixed in coffee, although the fiber initially seemed to dissolve uniformly, as I got to halfway through the beverage the thickness increased, as if the fiber had settled closer to the bottom. I found this to be particularly unpleasant, and had to abandon the rest of the coffee. Therefore, this fiber powder may be best for smoothies or other thicker mixes. There are seven grams of fiber per serving, which is a good amount, and I appreciate the absence of added sugar or sweeteners. Overall this is a good unflavored fiber supplement sourced from chicory root. The price is reasonable for the quantity provided. The Best By Date on the tub I received is January 11. 2029.

Great fiber supplement
I’ve been trying to increase my fiber intake, and have tried chia seeds and psyllium fiber by itself. This product is a perfect mix of the two, coming in a flavorless, sugar free powder. Two teaspoons dissolves easily in water, and you can also mix it into juice, yogurt, smoothies, etc. Like psyllium fiber, when mixed in water it does cause it to thicken some, and you have to constantly stir to make sure it doesn’t all settle at the bottom and you’re left drinking a sludge, so it might be easier for some people to mix it in yogurt or something that’s already thick.The fiber definitely helps move things along the bowel. I’ve only been doing one serving a day and I find it helps regulate me well, but I might try increasing that soon. As the instructions say, start on the lower side if you haven’t had much fiber before this. Overall, it seems pricey, but it actually comes out to a reasonable amount and works well.

Easy to mix and basically no taste
My wife absolutely loves this stuff. She has tried different fiber and digestive health products before, and this is one she actually wants to keep using. With supplements, I always think there is a little bit of “your results may vary,” but for her, she feels like this has made a real difference with digestion and keeping things more regular.One of the biggest things she likes is that it does not really taste like much. texture won’t be for everyone
I was looking to incorporate something into my diet for more fiber, and found this product. I’ve never used any sort of fiber or chia seed product so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Initially I mixed it with water like it says on the back and the gooey texture threw me off. There also defenitly is a taste. It’s very mild but it’s not the greatest esp in water where you can taste everything. I mixed it with juice next, and that was slightly better. I had no issues with clumping or anything, for me it was just getting through the texture. I tried mixing it in Greek yoghurt and overnight oats, and that’s how I think it’s best prepared. You can’t taste it that way. So there’s many different ways to mix it you’ll just have to find what’s best for you. I only use 1 serving a day and that works well for me. It does help keep things regular and helps keep my appetite under control. Love that it’s already grinded up and all you have to do is mix it in. Super convenient and so good for you. So many good things in this container. You get a large quantity of powder for the price too, so I feel it’s worth it. I’d reccomended for anyone who wants to balance their tummy issues and for anyone seeking better health because chia seeds are awesome. Great value for your money.
