B12 for energy
We hear about vitamin B 12 all at a time and how we need to take it to boost energy. It was interesting to find that it only helped those who are deficient in vitamin B 12 to notice the boost in energy. For me personally I know that I do not have enough vitamin B 12 in my system so I do notice an uptake in energy when I take it.Vitamin B12 is primarily found in animal products like meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and dairy. Plant-based foods are generally not natural sources, so individuals following a vegetarian or vegan diet may need to consume fortified foods or take supplements to ensure adequate intake.Red Blood Cell Formation and Anemia Prevention: Vitamin B12 is indispensable for the production of healthy red blood cells, which are responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body. A deficiency can lead to megaloblastic anemia, a condition where red blood cells become unusually large and unable to function properly, leading to fatigue and weaknessWhile Vitamin B12 is often promoted for boosting energy, supplements are generally only beneficial in increasing energy levels for those who have a deficiency.

chewable, high-dose B12 supplement especially for GLP-1 and bariatric surgery patients
I have some genetic testing done and my body is both inefficient at using B12 and also needs more than most people. So I’m always looking for good B12 supplements. A few thoughts on these:* Very little of the B12 you take is actually absorbed and processed. So the crazy high numbers you see (these tablets provide 41,667% of RDA) are expected and make sense.* One of the best methods is a tablet that dissolves in your mouth. You hold it under your tongue and some is absorbed directly through the bottom of your tongue, which is a more direct route than going through your digestive system. I think these chewable tablets are kind of a middle ground. You’d probably do well to chew it up and then hold some under your tongue for a minute or two before swallowing.* The flavor on these is fine. It’s not strong but has enough flavor to hide any chalkiness. These are pleasant enough to chew and swallow.* These are labeled as especially friendly to bariatric surgery patients and those taking GLP-1. I don’t know what makes them especially suitable, but it is worth noting.* The price/value of these is pretty good. You get 100 tablets and take one per day, so you are getting a little more than three months supply here. These seem like a decent B12 supplement to me. Since it’s hard to tell if one is working well or not, I like to switch brands and types over time, and this is a fine supplement to put in my rotation.

Easy to take
The taste is fine and is small so it’s easy to chew. I took this instead of my usual to compare. This is fine and good value for money, but I just prefer my small pill instead. I like to swallow it as opposed to chewing it up.

B12 That Boosts Energy, Supports Nerves
I have been taking Bari B12 Max for a couple of months now and I am really impressed. As someone who struggles with energy and has digestive sensitivities, these chewable B12 tablets have been a game changer. The 1000 mcg of methylcobalamin gives me a noticeable boost in energy without any jitters. I feel more alert during the day and less sluggish, which has been especially helpful with my busy schedule.I also love that they taste like real cherries. No chalky aftertaste or weird texture—just a smooth, enjoyable chew. Taking my daily B12 has never been this easy or pleasant. These tablets are perfect for anyone who has had bariatric surgery or uses GLP-1 medications. They are easy to absorb, which is essential for people with digestive challenges, and I can feel confident that my body is actually getting the nutrients it needs.I have noticed improvements not just in energy but also in focus and overall well-being. Knowing these are doctor recommended and free from gluten, dairy, and artificial ingredients makes me trust this product even more. Overall, Bari B12 Max is simple, effective, and actually enjoyable to take—a supplement I will continue to use every day.

Does not taste well, hard to find info on the brand.
I’m confused by this product. I’ve taken many over-the-counter B12 supplements before. After taking them for extended periods of time, I’ve had my B12 levels checked, and they have increased greatly. So I’m not worried personally if the product is methylcobalamin B12 or not. When I chose this product for review, I thought, cool, I’m out of B12. I didn’t look or realize that it was bariatric friendly and ironically, I had bariatric surgery in 2006. So it would be appropriate for me to review! That aftertaste though. I’ve never had a B12 that tastes like this, it’s not good. I don’t like it. I probably won’t use it, and during the time it took to go all over the Internet, trying to find out about the company that manufactures this product, my stomach is hurting. That seems weird.I went to the ALLOTRO labs page. The page kind of gives you the runaround. I could not find any specific products listed. Anytime I clicked on a link to shop or look at products, nothing would happen.I looked again. I made sure to type in ALLOTRO BODY LABS, I had typed in only Allotro Labs. Google AI tells me that this is a misunderstanding as the correct brand name is Universal Body Labs.If you click on the storefront for this brand on this Amazon B12 listing, it shows two products. This product and a long reach toilet aid. And that’s exactly what it says on Google AI, it mentions these 2 products.Looking on theUniversal Body Labs website, it does say that their products are made in America in FDA registered facilities with GMP guidelines. They have professional recognitions and are a member of the American Society for metabolic and bariatric surgery. They state that all of their products undergo rigorous safety testing, but it does not state third-party testing. There is no place on their website to look at their products. I’m so confused. Also, there’s no Better Business Bureau profile for a company named universal body labs. Either way it seems that both companies make things for people going through transition and need gender affirming care, and people who get bariatric surgery.ALLOTRO labs also creates things for bariatric patients and transitioning clients so the whole thing is very confusing. According to the Better Business Bureau, Allotro Labs has been in business for 10 years and they are NOT BBB accredited. The fact that I’m having difficulty finding any of their products on any of the aforementioned websites does not leave a good taste in my mouth. Neither does their B12 supplement 😂Overall, I’m not impressed and I am questioning where this product actually comes from.

These B12 tablets seem good
If you are going to take a B12 supplement, it’s important to take one of the active forms such as methyl B12. Under the best of circumstances, B12 is difficult for the body to absorb and utilize, and most supplements use the cheap cyanocobalamin form that is practically useless to the body. So, I am pleased that this supplement contains methylcobalamin instead. Furthermore, B12 is better absorbed through the tissues of your mouth than through the digestive system. I always take a chewable form like this one and allow it to dissolve slowly in my mouth. This one dissolves within a couple minutes and has a pleasant, mild flavor of cherry. The dosage is the same as other B12 supplements I have used, which seem to work well for me. I am always wary of supplement brands I have not heard of before, but after some research, I feel confident this company is US owned and based in IA. It seems to be a small business. Their website is rather bare-bones. I have been taking these for only a few days now, but I have had no problems with them, and I feel the same as I do on my regular brand. No complaints.
