High quality packaging and overall product
This review is in overall packaging and state of the product. I haven’t used it long enough to determine if the supplements actually do what they suggest. That said, the product came packaged very well. I found the supplements to be of high quality and have had no issues for the last few weeks in taking it.

Easy to take and known to have excellent effects
Years ago, I read how this supplement helps prevent major, crippling bodily issues, and my husband begged me to buy it. Back then, it was hard to find, so I was not able to buy much of it. Thankfully, these astaxanthin softgels arrived looking fresh and well sealed, and the softgels themselves still had that smooth, slightly springy texture instead of the hard “fossilized vitamin” feel some older stock gets.The packaging is a resealable pouch instead of a bottle, which actually takes up less cabinet space than the growing supplement graveyard currently happening in my kitchen. The seal closed securely after opening, and the lot and expiration dates were clearly printed on the back, which I always check with supplements. I also noticed they included a little moisture absorber inside the pouch, which is one of those small details that makes the product feel better protected and thoughtfully packaged.The label lists 12 mg astaxanthin from microalgae per softgel, along with sunflower seed oil and the softgel ingredients. I also liked seeing the soy-free and gluten-free labeling right on the front. The softgels themselves are a deep dark brown color and medium sized. Easy to swallow with water and no unpleasant aftertaste lingering around afterward. Poor quality microalgae astaxanthin 12mg. soft gels!
RTEWXLP premium astaxanthin 12 mg. soft gels are of poor quality! They claim they are non-GMO, gluten and soy free. They claim they are triple strength and made from microalgae using a super critical extraction and cell wall breaking technology which is claimed to provide higher purity. I have taken them daily for over 2 months for the claimed health benefits! There is no verifiable third-party testing certification, NSF or USP (United States Pharmacopeia) certification! Major red flags for me! To make matter worse, there is verifiable manufacturers information or website! These are just garbage supplements from China sold by a Chinese company! Stay away! I have not noticed any difference in my skin as well as, a boost in my immune system. My skin is actually drier the longer I have taken these! Astaxanthin is claimed to be a great antioxidant that supports the immune system, neutralizes free radicals, promotes collagen production and maintains healthy skin. I have numerous health issues, and these soft gels are not making any difference. I like the soft gels over capsules and tablets. I feel the soft gels get absorbed better than other forms. These are not a very good value for the money; you get 120 soft gels. Recommended dose is one daily! They are not effective and I do not recommend them! I do like the foil lined Ziplock type pouch. It is convenient and keeps the soft gels fresh! They are not a very good price for 120-count package. You do only need to take one a day!

Easy to take no after effects
12 mg is the a good dose if you are serious about taking your antioxidants. Once you’ve been on it for a bit you’ll definitely feel less eye fatigue (if you spend more than an hour at your computer each day). The capsules are small enough to swallow easily. You won’t get a buzz like coffee, but it’s definitely worth a try if you are looking to protect your skin or joints.
