Taste is Fabulous. The huge bucket seems like a waste of materials.

I think this stuff taste fabulous and it is a great breakfast for me. Mixability: It does not disolve easily into COLD water or milk, but I have found that if you mix it into hot tap water it will disolve much better, then you can chill it down by mixing it further with some ice cubes or cold milk. I do not use a shaker bottle because I believe that introduces a lot of air into the mix, and I don’t want to swallow air because it has to come back out somewhere. I mix it with a fork in a cup and I would rather have chunks than air.The ingredients do not give me epic gas. There I said it.Some whey protien powders will cause me to bloat up like a zeplin and off-gas all day long, like a kid praticing tuba that just won’t quit. This is not one of them and I am thankful for that.The massive size of the bucket is quite wasteful because it is only 1/3 full. The container says it has 17 servings but it could probably hold 60, perhaps it is because AN doesn’t want to powder to compact, or the whey needs the personal space, I am not sure.I will say I am sold on the quality of the AN products I have tried. I prefer the Banana-Chocolate over the Bannana-Strawberry but both are very good, and thier Pineapple-Strawberry essential PRE has a good pre workout kick.I like this stuff and I approve of it.

Very sweet and uses sucralose

I got this protein powder for my post-workout smoothies, and it’s pretty decent. The banana flavor is very fake tasting–kind of like banana laffy taffy candy. It is also extremely sweet, and if I didn’t mix it with my other protein powder that’s less sweet, it would probably be too much for my taste. However, despite that, it somehow still tastes okay overall.As for the texture, it mixes well, and it is smooth and creamy when blended. The price is also about right for the amount of servings. However, it is such a huge jar for the amount you get, which is about 1/3 full.Now for my biggest complaint: This protein powder is grass-fed but has sucralose in it. For those who care about grass-fed products and are health conscious enough to seek them out, sucralose is a definite no-go. Some people, like myself, have sucralose sensitivities and don’t want to ingest fake sweeteners. For this reason, I would not purchase it again. However, you may feel differently.

Great flavor, but low protein content

Let’s start with the good. This stuff tastes great to me. It has a clear and pretty natural tasting banana flavor, which is not overpowered or hidden by the chocolate. Might be one of my favorite flavors for protein now. It mixes easily in 12 oz of milk. I use a shaker cup, with a shaker ball, and after less than 10 shakes it’s pretty much done. The results are a smooth, creamy drink with no clumping, especially if I let it sit a minute then shake it again. I drink this 30 minutes to 1 hour after my morning workout, and sometimes before bed. It doesn’t leave me feeling bloated or give me any bad feelings. I have been using 1.5 scoops though, versus the suggested 1 scoop per serving. That leads me to the “bad”. With only 1 scoop there is only 20g of protein per serving. This is quite low for a non-plant based protein powder. I am used to using whey based products with at least 30g of protein per serving. Doing this means I only get 11 servings per huge container, and the price per serving is over 2.60 per serving at the time of my order. That’s a bit too high for me when compared to other similar products, which is the only reason I’m giving this 4 stars versus 5.

Great tasting Whey Protein Isolate but only 17 Servings.

These foods are fairly high in protein but also come with a hefty dose of unhealthy fats, preservatives, and sodium.Plant protein powder is a high-quality protein rich in iron, arginine and branched-chain amino acids. It is generally considered an easy to digest protein and suitable for those with allergies to soy. The main difference between soy and plat protein lies in the amount of essential amino acids they contain. Pea protein for instance has a higher leucine content than soy protein, so it is better for supplementing muscle growth and recovery. Additionally, plant protein tends to have a less allergenic profile than soy protein.Dangers of whey protein include stomach pains and cramps when consumed at high doses. Some people who are allergic to milk may be specifically allergic to whey. In moderate doses, whey protein does not typically cause any adverse events. At $30 for 17 servings it is a bit pricey but it does say it is made in US. The texture is good and it mixes and dissolves really well though. It also tastes great but what’s wrong with this sizing? This giant size jug came half empty!
