This papaya enzyme is great! This is the brand I normally buy, and so I really do love their papaya, but I will say this “super papaya” is a little peppermint-y, which is different from the normal papaya. It doesn’t taste bad, in fact, just like the other papaya enzyme, it’s very tasty! But it’s definitely minty and leaves your mouth feeling like you just brushed your teeth. I eat a couple with every meal to prevent heartburn and if I feel a little indigestion at any other time, I pop a couple and feel relief in no time. I really notice a difference when I run out and don’t eat these for a couple days, it just seems like everything goes down a little smoother when I have them. I recommend these to anyone who is having issues with indigestion or heartburn, or just wants a little after meal digestive helper that tastes great too!

Not exactly Papaya flavored
I do like the tablets and I do think they do its job however the “Papaya” in the title is misleading as I feel not all of the tablets taste like papaya. A lot of them also taste like coconut and other flavors that I can’t recognize. To be honest I was a little disappointed by this as in the past when I tried this product a few years ago all of the tablets were actually Papaya flavored. Am I the only one experiencing this? I wonder if they’re going for a Placebo effect here were enough of the product tastes like Papaya to label it such.

The way this is formulated, I can use it as a digestive aid (papaya and other enzymes) and as an antacid at the same time (mild peppermint works for me). I love this product.
