This valerian cap checks all the boxes for what it s supposed to do. It does smell like valerian, which is normal and expected, but there is no awkward taste. The pills are easy to swallow, and the filler is rice flour. In fact, fillers for this particular blend are quite limited, which is great. The ingredients list contains magnesium stearate which helps with absorption and I do not mind. I have noticed that this valerian blend does help me to relax and get a good night’s sleep. It hasn’t caused any strange side effects, didn’t hurt my stomach, and doesn’t cause me to become flushed or itchy. I would recommend it to anyone needing a valerian supplement in cap form. Amazing Nutrition manufactures the capsules in the USA, which I like seeing on the bottle. Not sure where the components are sourced from, so it loses a star.

No. I’ve purchaded other brands & taken Valerian root for sleep for a long time. I tried this one because of the low price. it did not work. I will never buy this one again
