A Health Warning is missing from the listing
It is NOT necessarily gluten free, as the title states. This product contains wheat and yeast, which contain gluten. The listing fails to reveal potential health hazards.Additionally, it has a very unpleasant odor when the package is opened. I flushed it immediately because it was overpowering and permeated my kitchen when I opened the container. Others may not have such a powerful reaction as I did…………………………………………………I submitted this information about the listing to Amazon:A) The listing title states “Gluten Free”, but the small print on the back label states “Contains wheat ingredients. Avoid this product if you are allergic to yeast. If you are pregnant,nursing, taking any medications, or have any medical condition consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur”,This means it is not gluten free, and there may be a health risk in taking this product. The listing fails to reveal this irregularity. Gluten can cause anaphylactic shock and even death in some people, and less severe adverse effects in some others. Nowhere in the listing is this contradiction brought to the purchaser’s attention.B) There is only one image of this product shown in the listing – the front label. What is missing is a readable image of the back label, which contains a health warning, which is printed on the back label:By omission, this important health information has been concealed: “Warning – This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known by the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm”.
