Works for my anxiety
I’ve just finished off my first 6 weeks of using GABA & wanted to write a review. First of all, I suffer from sometimes mild to severe anxiety & mild depression. Herbs have always been my first choice against medications because of less side effects and some herbs are safer than chemicals.I was using an anxiety formula but wanted to narrow it down to just one herb to see if it would work as good, so after some research I decided to try GABA. I wanted to try GABA because it is safe, has no side effects and is supposed to calm nerves, be a relaxant and help with sleep. The whole month I took one pill in the morning and one pill at bedtime. It worked right away for me and i noticed less anxiety, with an easier time falling asleep at night. Now that I have been using it for several weeks i think that one pill per time might not be as strong, so i am going up to 2 pills during the day and one at night to see if that helps some. Over all this has helped me feel less anxious and i am hoping that 2 pills in the morning will take the tension off on stressful days. These pills are quite big but not hard to swallow and do not have an awful taste like Valerian root does. Inside the pills is powder, which my doctor says is better to take because they digest better in the body. I wouldn’t say these are strong as prescription medications are but for an herb they do work well.

I had found out about GABA on a forum, where two colleagues were having a back and forth. one was a regular user, the other curious.At first, I decided on another product that had GABA and other things like niacin and B6, taurine and melatonin.Amazing Nutrition GABA has been consistently better and delivers on what it promises.If you follow the directions, you’ll benefit fully from the nerve calming properties of this product. I take one tablet daily with my morning drink and it sustains through the day, with no tolerance build up.How do I put this, my ups and downs have less ups and downs. And compared to the anti anxiety medication I was on years ago, my body/mind doesn’t miss this when I skip it. It is calm on demand for those of us who don’t meditate or search for non pharmeceutical aid.As far as fitness/muscle build up and GABA, I am not sure. I took this as a mood enhancer only.Shipping came before the promised date. Packaging is discreet. There is a high probability that I will get more.

Not PHARMA GABA, good GABA nonetheless
DISCLAIMER: Although I am a former practicing dr of naturopathy, nothing in this review is to be taken as medical advice in any way. Always check with your doctor before taking any medication or supplements. That being said, I give it a good rating for the GABA itself; however, it is NOT Pharma Gaba as advertised. If you are not familiar, there are basically 3 types of OTC GABA. One is what you have here, which is your “garden variety” GABA, as i like to call it, then you have PHARMA GABA, which is pretty much in it’s liposomel form. Then, there is GABA with a phenyl ring molecularly attached, making what is commonly known as P H E N I B U T. That version is a horse of another color. It is EXTREMELY potent and borderlines being a full blown benzodiazepine developed in Russia. Only THREE DAYS of regular usage can cause one to suffer from withdrawals. Stay away from it. But back to this product, although it doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier, we still have GABA receptors in our gut. In theory, that should be enough to bind to in order to signal the brain that we have more GABA in our system, thus the benefits we desire may take place. In my personal experience with GABA over the last 25 years, I have found that it tends to work better if taken sublingually under the tongue before swallowing. I would never use more than 1 to 2 grams at a time, as you may experience a sudden breathless feeling when it hits your system. Basically harmless, but you won’t like it and you don’t need that much anyway. We used it for increasing HGH naturally in the body to reduce fat during the cutting cycle in bodybuilding. Plus, it can help induce sleep. Ok, maybe a bit too much info but remember, don’t take this as advice. Do your own research and talk to your doctor first. God bless.

After reading the positive reviews I decided to give this a try and glad I did. I have trouble sleeping. A bit of an insomniac, actually. Within a half hour of taking this, off to dreamland I went. A nice deep sleep for a couple hours, which is very rare for me. I’d say, I got about 4 hours total for the night. That may not sound like much, but trust me…that’s great!I also have re-occurring, floating anxiety and this has also helped with that. My hope is that it will continue to help, but if it doesn’t, I’ll be sure to come back here and edit my post. But for now, I do recommend this product.

Great! My Go To Brand For Many Years….
I remember comparing this GABA to others and this one made me feel better, more calm compared to many others.However, lately I forget to take it sometimes and I still feel fine. I retired so I probably don’t need it anymore!😂It dissolves easily, is easy to swallow with smooth texture, has no taste, has good strength, and has no side effects that I notice. This was my go to brand for many years and if I’m feeling stressed for some reason in the future, I’ll return to it. The micronized products always seem to work better for me….
