I have taken Astaxanthin for several years, although, I haven’t taken this brand very long. This brand has the same qualities and benefits as all the other brands I have taken through the years. The capsules are very small and easily to swallow. I have full faith in this brand because I have not noticed anything differently with my body while taking this brand.I actually started taking Astaxanthin for the skin health benefits especially for and during sun exposure. I can honestly say, I have had significant benefits with my skin. I can stay in the sun longer now without burning skin. However, I do know my sun exposure limits. As for the claims of reduced wrinkles or age spots, I have a bunch of those so if it helped with reduction, I do not know.Astaxanthin is a fat soluble supplement so it needs to be taken with a meal containing fat. There are many claims as to astaxanthin improving dry eye, possibly lowering LDL cholesterol and reducing triglycerides. I don’t actually know if I have reaped these benefits because I do eat a well balanced and healthy diet plus I have good bloodwork results.There isn’t an actual set dosage of astaxanthin, but research has shown that 4-12 milligrams are beneficial for health. Of course, all of our bodies are different, therefore, experimenting with low dosages and increasing to higher dosages is exactly what I did. Also, if you are on medications, then be careful because some medications can have interactions with Astaxanthin.

This really seems to be helping me guard myself from stress. I have been taking it for the Floaties in my eyes and I’m not noticing them as much now. Because of that, I really believe these ingredients are good quality. If you are looking to improve your skin, heart, or eye health and that is why you’re looking at this, then look no further! These softgels are actually pretty small and very easy to swallow. They do not stick to your tongue or give me an upset stomach. I believe this is a good value for the money as it really seems to be very effective.

An effective supplement for inflammation.
I take another brand of Astaxanthin, but seeing this one also being manufactured in a GMP facility, I decided to give it a try. However, I do prefer my supplements to be 3rd-party tested, which is usually a requirement before I purchase any supplement. I want to know what is claimed to be in the supplement, is actually what is in the supplement. Lacking this control, how else are you to gauge its actual efficacy?I have been off my regular Astaxanthin for a while, so once starting these, it did not take too many days before I noticed a difference. I have been taking this for one month. One month is hardly any time to properly judge/evaluate a supplement, but I am being pressed for a review.I have severe inflammation in my lower back, so the last week I doubled my dosage to 24mg/day. This is a higher-than-normal dose, but still considered within safely tolerated limits. It has made a noticeable difference in my arthritic inflammation discomfort. I cannot attest to the other beneficial claims of this supplement as I have no way to gauge these. But it would lead me to believe finding it as effective as it is against inflammation, it may likely be helping me in other areas I cannot directly attest to.Lastly, my supplements must also be gluten-free, so this is another plus for this manufacturer. I should also note the size of these capsules makes swallowing them very easy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this manufacturer’s supplement.

Before I ordered this, I had to do some research on astaxanthin. I had not heard of it. I found that it is a natural marine carotenoid antioxidant that has some supporting evidence that it can help with inflammation and with mental fatigue and eye fatigue. There are other potential benefits listed, such as skin renewal and anti-aging, but with my work schedule, I was immediately drawn to the possibility of some easing of mental and visual fatigue.The packaging is unique – it arrives in a good-quality, sealed pouch instead of a pill jar. Each of the softgels appear uniform and intact. The package indicates that they are soy-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, and naturally sourced. All good.I have been taking one a day for over two weeks now. I do have some improvement in eye fatigue and focus, especially toward late afternoon. I also have more overall clarity and somewhat less mental fatigue. This has been a positive experience.I did find that I have to take it during breakfast instead of before breakfast. When I take it on an empty stomach, I get a brief spell of nausea. My research showed that this is normal because astaxanthin is fat-soluble and needs some fat to properly dissolve. I also found that 12 mg is on the high end of normal dosage and since this is my first time trying this supplement, the higher dosage also contributes to empty-stomach nausea.Now I am going to pay attention to whether it gives me any benefits in skin health and appearance. That would be wonderful if I also see skin improvement.

I deducted one star because it doesn’t list manufacturer origin, only that it was distributed from Colorado.Astaxanthin has many reported benefits including but not limited to eyes, heart, brain, and skin, and is supposed to help energy levels as well.These are small and easy to swallow with minimal taste.Thus far I haven’t experienced any side effects, but I started by taking 1 every other day before going to once daily.It’s emphasis on skin health is especially important during the summer months as it supposedly helps protect against UV damage from the inside.*I take it in Addition to wearing sunscreen, not in place of.*At 120 capsules per package, this is a good value for a 3 month supply.12mg is the maximum usually recommended so taking one every other day might be better for some people, making this a 6 month supply.

If you have never heard of this before, it is worth looking up! It has shown to be effective with many health benefits in regard to being used as an anti-inflammatory agent, it basically is also an antioxidant to help with eye health, brain health better heart health and better immunity.
