Great multi-organ supplement to support healthy adrenal function
I have been on a quest to find superior organ-based supplements and this hits two of them, both adrenals and liver. Anytime you are dealing with organs you really need to trust the company and this is made in the USA and gives me more confidence but does state it is sourced from around the world. The ashwagandha is a nice benefit as I was already taking that for adrenal support and feel like there is good evidence behind it… but again it is all about how it is sourced and tested. I will give this one a solid try as it really packs a power punch of science behind it.

None of my reviews of FDA unregulated products are testimonial to the efficacy of the product; nor are they indicative that the product can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.I review unregulated supplements based on the reputation of the supplier and the results of third party testing.ADVANCED BIONUTRITIONALS is reputable company that serves customers through many sale points. They have some retail presence in physical stores as well as independent online sales. They’ve been around for a few years. On other review sites for the supplement industry they have active agents in those forums helping customers who report problems. I have high confidence problems with the companies products would be addressed.It’s important for unregulated products to do third party certification of the products for quality, consistency, and purity. Especially testing for impurities that may enter the production process. ADVANCED BIONUTRITIONALS does not claim that they do any third party certification. Normally this reduces my review to state that I have low confidence in the product’s quality, purity, and consistency. In this case though, the company has a page on their independent web site that details their production quality standards. This restores some, but not all, of the confidence concerns.
Cautionary Tales –
Soporific for me
I am neurodivergent, and Both of my focus and my energy levels can be volatile and I tend to fixate, procrastinate, and then get anxious because I’ve done millions of things but none of them are the one I needed to do. Anxiety manifests in my body as a cortisol spike and if I can’t manage to exercise immediately, I need some way of bringing down the pressure. Since I have an international trip coming up, I knew I’d start to experience my usual cyclical anxiety as I rush to finish work and get all my errands done beforehand.I started taking these, just two a day versus their recommended four (2 pills AM and PM) A few days ago and I am very glad I only took two a day. When I saw that one of the ingredients was ashwaghandha –An ingredient that I like for stress control, but which makes me very sleepy in all of the tiniest doses–I worried these would make me sleepy. Indeed, they do. Unfortunately, I cannot take them in the morning – if I do, there’s no way I will work out. I took them later in the day once and walked my dog in a semi stoned, sleepy state I didn’t love. I mean, sure, your stress goes away, but I don’t want to be tranquilized either. Right now I’m only taking these at night just as I’m about to drop off anyway. I probably wouldn’t purchase them again

This is a 120 tablet bottle that will last two months. The supplement contains all natural ingredients to support adrenal health. Advanced Adrenal Factor contains Panthothenic Acid, Licorice, Bovine Adrenal Cortex, Bovine Liver Concentrate, Cordyceps Mushroom, Eleuthera, and Ashwagandha. This is a great mix of ingredients. I like that it is free of major allergens!

Everything you purchase from this company is made in the USA!Prior to ordering this adrenal supplement, I have tried the companies advanced greens to great effect.The tablets are a bit large and could do with a coating, but I have adjusted to it quickly.It’s pretty rare to find a supplement that actually smells good out of the bottle, but this product does. Smells like chocolate!I would sing the praises of this supplement, however I have found that many sites won’t allow it, so I will point you to all the positive reviews this brand has for all of its products. If that doesn’t speak volumes, nothing does!

Some exotic ingredients I’ve been using separately
As more people are taking traditional health aids used for eons in other cultures more seriously, the names of the ingredients are becoming more familiar. I have been incorporating many of them in my routines and have found their results profound at times, especially ashwagandha and cordyceps. Its unusual, I think, to feel an actual difference in your well being by taking any herb or product, but I have felt a quantifiable effect when taking these ingredients, That’s why I was happy to find several of my favorites incorporated into a single product like this. It is notable that these are not capsules but are pressed and while not overly large, do have a different mouth/throat feel if you are someone who has trouble swallowing pills. While I am sensitive to that, I can swallow these easily. If you’ve heard of some of the included ingredients and want to experiment, this offers a great combination that I can personally recommend, though each of our chemistries are unique.

Quite a story
OK so I wanted to wait on writing this review for a while because I was tossed up with something that happened that could be unrelated but also could be related. I recently had an adrenalectomy and so I have one adrenal gland that is functioning now. But barely. so I thought ‘oh cool, a supplement might help me’Now don’t get me wrong, I *know* if you ask a doctor about supplements they just wave their hands and go “No I don’t know, don’t do it, supplements are bad, they aren’t tested.” and like medically speaking I understand that approach and perspective but I also think it’s incredibly shortsighted and a tremendous disservice to patients who are looking for additional support that western medicine doesn’t always provide.Anyway, I don’t know if it was just the course of my treatment (likely) or this supplement (less likely) because I wound up in the ER for an adrenal crisis since tapering medications post surgery etc. Hard to explain here without going on forever and ever about it.But basically: Post surgery was prescribed medication, supposed to taper it, was tapering it, started taking this (Which should have dulled the tapering effects) and then wound up in the ER because of non-functioning adrenal glands. Arguably I coudl have avoided that by just taking more medication but my dr didn’t say to do that at the time. Or maybe they did and I misunderstood. It’s been a weird few months.Anyway, I had a bad experience while taking this, but I don’t truly believe it was caused by this.
