Now THAT is What I Call Calcium!
I knew it would happen. My last check up revealed that I now officially have Osteopenia. My doctor told me several years ago that I should be taking a calcium supplement daily. And I did–sometimes. But I didn’t take it regularly. I have a fairly queasy stomach and the calcium pills were usually large and made me feel sick. But NOW that my feet are to the fire I’m trying to be better. I stumbled across Adora some years ago at TJMaxx–Ah, Dark Chocolate Calcium. I bought the bag and was VERY pleasantly surprised that not only did the individually foil wrapped discs taste like REAL dark chocolate, they also had no after-effect. Another chocolate-chew calcium product leaves me feeling downright queasy after eating them. The first time I ordered these from Amazon–again, several years ago, I ran into the same issues that others have mentioned in their reviews. I ordered a three pack. The first pack was fine–but the second and third bags had gotten hot or old or both. the chocolate discs were white, chalky, brittle–and turned to powder in my mouth. NOT appetizing. Unfortunately I didn’t discover their state until months after my initial purchase (remember I was being sporadic, at best, with my Calcium supplementation. I didn’t feel as if I could return the product after so much time so I ended up throwing them out. However, with this latest wake up call from my doctor I decided to try Adora again. I read the Amazon reviews carefully to see which sellers had the best track record with delivering a quality product. I had good luck the past two times I’ve ordered. The product arrives quickly with Amazon Prime and the individual discs have tasted fresh and flavorful. I keep a bag of these in the kitchen and one in my nightstand. I’m not tempted to binge on them, but they do taste really good. I don’t mind starting my day with a piece of chocolate and I feel better knowing that I AM getting the calcium supplement that my physician recommends. Another note: I live in South Georgia–summer days often run in the high 90’s or more. I DO try to order these in the spring before it gets TOO hot–maybe even laying in a supply for the hot months so that I don’t have to have them shipped in July. It is chocolate, after all, and few chocolate items do well with the whole hot/cold thing.

My Daily Treat
Took a chance based on some of the negative reviews. I had gastric bypass and need to get my calcium in daily. These are my treat for the day. I love the dark chocolate flavor. Some people have complaints about them arriving melted. If you order them in the height of summer where the package is sitting on a hot delivery truck for 8-10 hours, yes the chocolate will melt. My plan- slowly buy enough bags to get me through to October when the weather is cooler and this shouldn’t be an issue when I reorder. Great taste, great source of calcium and great deal for 3 bags. Highly recommend.

Great product, when stored at the amazon wear house properly
I’ve always liked these supplements -they are tasty and a great way to get extra calcium. I haven’t been able to find them in the store anymore so order them on amazon. The problem is that the quality of the product varies so greatly -I’m not sure if it is a QC thing from the company, or incorrect storage at amazon. When I received my package today, the chocolates were chalky and white (rather than a nice chocolate consistency as normal) and literally turned to powder when I took a bit from one. I’m afraid to eat these. Looks like I have to deal with the hassle of returning them. I don’t know where I can safely purchase more.

Overpriced, but best calcium supplement
I’ve tried a lot of different calcium supplements over the years, and hated them all. I have trouble swallowing pills, hate the chalky chewables, and the fact that I’m vegan eliminates a lot of other options. This dark chocolate version doesn’t contain milk, and the calcium is mixed in so well, it just tastes like a piece of chocolate, no chalky taste at all. I’m going to have to stock up in the winter though because I won’t be able to have them shipped in the summer due to the damage other people have report in warm climates. But for now, they’re awesome. Overpriced, but delicious.

Old/bad product
All 3 bags of this Adora product were old and well beyond their “should” sell by dates. The dark chocolate was cracked, stale and faded in two bags and crumbly and falling apart in a third. I actually had to spit one of the discs out. I’m very disappointed. I used to love Adora. I don’t know if this is a seller or a product issue but I believe I am thru with purchasing this item.

Great way to get my daily calcium!
I love this product. I needed to get more calcium (I’m not a milk lover and it doesn’t like me back!) This is a great way for a chocoholic to get the calcium! The taste is great and easy to remember to take. Unfortunately, my husband has discovered them and I now have to buy them more often! (Ha, ha!)

Mixed reviews
These calcium supplements are not only easy on the stomach, they are delicious! Unfortunately, I received 6 packages in which all the discs had turned white and crumbly. Not sure if they were old, but they weren’t palatable. I received a refund.

This is my second order of these and I’m extremely happy with the quality and taste of these calcium supplements. I did my first order with a different seller and ordered a single bag to see if I would enjoy these; I did and decided to go with a 3 pack this time around so that I am never without these supplements!I take a few different supplements daily and it can be a bit overwhelming having to swallow so many large tablets and capsules. This is like a treat, though I know only to take one, it does have a really great dark chocolate flavor I can enjoy. It’s not chalky, doesn’t have a weird after taste or feels as if I’m taking a supplement; it just tastes like delicious dark chocolate, not overly bitter or unpleasant.Everything arrived perfectly packaged and doesn’t expire until April 2020. My first bag of 3 so far is great, no old or chalky pieces, nothing melted. Will definitely keep these on supply.I will continue to order these since it really does make taking my vitamins much more enjoyable now, especially when I consume these last. Not a candy, but still delicious and enjoyable.
