Excellent value with no side effects and great results!

Outstanding value! I had been using the more expensive 500mg Slo-Niacin and buying it from Costco. I was aware that the times release coating on this much less expensive brand might not be as effective, but it hasn’t been a problem at all. I have been taking it now daily for a week and have experienced no problems. I take two 500 mg tablets twice a day. The 2000 mg (2 grams) of niacin has kept my cholesterol and blood pressure low. Taking time release niacin 2 grams a day and Red Yeast Rice 1200 mg twice a day lowered my total cholesterol from around 200 to 105 in two months. My good cholesterol increased and my bad cholesterol and triglycerides dropped dramatically. I have had no muscle aches as I did taking a prescription statin with poorer results.

So far I am pleased with this supplement

My LDL cholesterol level was 218 in October 2016 when I started taking 1000mg (two 500mg caplets) of this time release niacin on a nightly basis with a meal or snack. By the end of December 2016 my LDL had plummeted to 152. That represents a 66-point drop in a little more than two months. So far I am pleased with this supplement. By the way, my HDL level is 112, up from the 90s range. To be totally fair, I also take one 1200mg caplet of red yeast rice extract twice a day, one at noon and another at bedtime, always with a meal or snack. Since red yeast rice also has cholesterol-lowering properties, I cannot be certain in regards to which supplement is causing the positive changes in my cholesterol profile.Prescription statin medications such as Pravastatin (Pravachol) and Rosuvastatin (Crestor) cause me to have nasty side effects such as muscle pain that makes it too difficult for me to walk. The niacin/red yeast rice combo does not result in the muscle pain side effect, and my liver function tests are normal. I will continue to take this niacin as long as it continues to work.

but this is by far the best. No bad after affects and works the best

We have been ordering this product for quite sometime. There are a lot of Niacin products out there, but this is by far the best. No bad after affects and works the best. They are always quick to ship it out. We usually receive it way before the scheduled delivery date. I will continue to order this product. Great product and great company. Many thanks. 🙂

    Hoping for good results.

Will see what the long term affects are after most recent blood work, but good price and if they do what they say, then will be happy. For me, can only take one at a time without major flushingUpdate: Purchased another batch of the Niacin. On last bloodwork the cholesterol was way down, without much other change to diet, exercise or anything else I can pinpoint. Still can take only one cap at a time.Second order was at a good price, delivered quickly. Will keep buying especially if product keeps seeming to help!!

    Price and quality.

This product is a timed release niacin, which helps reduce cholesterol. It is also called Vitamin B3 It is frequently recommended by doctors in large doses before trying Or with various satins. Taking regular niacin can cause an irritating redness and itching. I have found that by taking a timed release product I do not have this problem. This product is about half the cost of Slo Niacin, a competing product. When first beginning this product it may be very helpful to take an aspirin about 20 minutes before taking the product to help avoid the irritating redness problem. After a few days this should not be necessary. It is important to take this under a doctor supervision as there can be side effects like liver damage. I have taken it for years now with no complications at the rate 1500 to 2000 mg daily.

    Question?

Fast delivery. Affordable price. Unsure of potency, or this Nicotinic Acid is exceptionally good at time release. All past, time release Niacin has caused itching, flushing, or burning sensation. This product does not.Label recently changed. No longer states if Niacin is derived from Nicotinic Acid. I find this concerning.
