MILDLY SWEET TASTING SUPPLEMENT
I’ve never used milk thistle before, so I didn’t know what to expect, but I have very slight liver fibrosis (I guess a lot of people do these days) and want to do everything I can to help it. Aside from a healthier diet and minimal alcohol, I got this to see if I could help myself. I can’t speak to its efficacy because that would require me both using it and not using it, which isn’t possible for a true comparison, but I have read multiple articles and studies that suggest it may help. I was surprised to find it kind of sweet! It does have bitter undertones, but the sweetness makes it kind of pleasant, and there’s no odor to it, so I imagine it would blend well into all kinds of beverages if you don’t want to take it straight. While I can find other brands that are slightly less expensive, I prefer to pay the (very slight) premium for Whole Foods, because it seems more likely to be authentic and worth the cost. I like that there’s no added sugar and I didn’t experience any weird side effects or digestive issues after taking it. It’s easy to dose, BUT the dropper doesn’t take up a full ml for me, so I have to do it in half-ml increments. No biggie!

Very convenient
I actually didn’t get this for consumption so my review might come from a different point of view. As a person with a pagan view of the world I see certain plants to have certain properties that can help create certain energy around me. The folklore around milk thistle is that it’s spikey quality makes it very good for protection and banishment. It’s also good for cleansing negative energy and helping one persevere through times of significant emotional turbulence. That’s exactly what I need right now. I have a little bottle of rose of Jericho water in my purse with a few drops of this in it. It’s actually very cumbersome to make a tincture out of milk thistle myself so the fact that this is already done is very convenient for me. The dropper bottle is very convenient and it seems to be very well made. I drop about a milliliter of the tincture into the Jericho water and I spritz it on myself to cleanse my aura and to boost my emotional resilience. It’s just a really convenient way to use milk thistle for magic. I recommend it.

I’ve been taking milk thistle supplements for years, and this liquid formulation is a convenient way to get some extra in if you don’t love taking pills.The taste is definitely pretty herbal, so you have to be ready for it. They didn’t add a bunch of flavorings and it’s simply the seed extract in glycerin and water. I don’t mind it.The one annoyance I have is with the dropper itself—it’s very difficult to get enough of the liquid into the dropper to constitute a full dose. You have to do it a few squeezes at a time. Maybe they could look into using a different dropper mechanism to make sure the dosage can be dispensed accurately.Other than the dropper, however, I like the clean formulation. Little annoys me more than a supplement being advertised with one active ingredient and then being revealed to have 20 other active ingredients I don’t want. This one has no BS, which I appreciate.

This is a nice product providing liquid Milk Thisle extract. Rhe liquid supy avoids he capsule, that is a plus for this product. The concentration of Milk Thisle seems to be high,that’s another big plus.

Strong earthy taste
I have never taken milk thistle but as someone with non-alcholics fattly liver disease (NAFLD) I thought this was worth a try. While it’s been a month or so taking it, and I can’t report back on any impact to my test results, I can share my experience taking it. I tried taking it straight from the dropper, that was a no-go for me. It has a strong earthy taste. I ended up mixing it into other flavored beverages, like my morning tea, and that helped mask it. One thing I like is that it’s a Whole Foods product. The brand always has quality ingredients. I have never had any side effects. No impact on my energy levels, but overall, if you are a fan of milk thistle, this a solid option if you can find a way to mask the taste.

High quality, trustworthy, and reasonably priced!
I have had the privilege of testing, evaluating, and reviewing a variety of supplements and have encountered many substandard products. I am happy to report that this is not one of them! 365 by Whole Foods Market products are all manufactured in the USA in GMP-compliant facilities, and this alone sets them apart from many competitors, but they go a step further by restricting unhealthy ingredients and dyes, and by carefully ensuring the quality of their products.In addition to the safety and quality of this product, it is very reasonably priced and tastes alright! Many similar products have a bitter/unpleasant aftertaste, but this one has no hint of that issue. The dropper is easy to use and functions well, and the bottle arrives securely sealed for freshness. While I can’t speak to the effects on other peoples’ bodies, I will say that this extract has not upset my stomach or caused any other issues. Overall, it seems to be a great product!
