Exactly what I was needing
I started taking low-dose lithium orotate as it’s been known to provide cognitive and mood support. I’ve been taking 5mg daily for a few months now, and I was excited to try this brand as they are made in the USA and third-party tested. I also like the simple ingredients and that they are non-GMO. They are small white pills that are easy to swallow and have next to no taste. I don’t experience any stomach upset with these and seem to be high quality. Lithium Orotate seems to be a big ingredient these days in the media as one that fends off any cognitive decline which comes with aging. As to it actually working for this purpose, i think the jury is still out on this issue. But this supplement does come in the dosage which most research supports as beneficial and it comes in a four month supply since there are 120 capsules in each bottle and the label recommends one 5mg capsule per day. The capsules are easy to swallow, not very big, and I have not noticed no odor or aftertaste to them. I also have not noticed any side effects or benefits yet either. The product is made right here in the USA and the label on the bottle contains the company’s name, address, and webpage address. Most research studies do indicate that one needs to take this product for 3-4 months consistently to truly see those cognitive and memory functions improve conclusively so fortunately, this product contains just the right amount to get to that point. The product has a 3-year shelf life.

Great supplement, reasonably priced!
This product is exactly what I hoped it would be. I have found that 21st century has really delivered a quality product here exactly as advertised. The capsules are pretty small, manageable, odorless and tasteless and have had no personal issues with digestion at all. Overall, this is a very handy product with a very reasonable price tag. I’ve tried pretty hard to find this on the shelves of grocery and pharmacy stores with little success, and so 21st’s offering here on Amazon is super convenient. Mostly when taking vitamins and OTC supplements my number one priority as a customer when it comes to using/purchasing is ease of access, and here the process has been simplified. As far as it’s overall efficacy goes, I wanted to mention without making any type of health claim that this small dose Li-Orotate is very potent for me and has immediate beneficial, overall effects without being too powerful/overwhelming. Many times OTC supplements from online vendors they can potentially overdo the active ingredients and so this was in my opinion excellent. Overall, 5/5

They are vegetarian and vegan friendly, which means they are also milk allergy safe. So that’s a big win for me. The vegan gel caps are a small standard size for gel caps and easy to swallow. There is no unpleasant odor or taste.I have fibromyalgia and it comes with brain fog, so I have tried a lot of things and done a lot of research to try to help decrease the brain fog issues. Lithium orotate was one of the things suggested by the internet.However, you are not supposed to take it and NSAIDS at the same time. If you aren’t familiar with NSAIDs, that’s things like ibuprofen that help with inflammation and pain.Fibro comes with a lot of pain. It also comes with brain fog. I wavered back and forth for a long time before coming to it to a compromise and deciding I would take this on days when my physical pain is low enough that I can get by without taking any ibuprofen. I also used my label maker to put a bright red label on it saying “no ibuprofen!” because I don’t trust myself to remember that if I’m in the middle of really bad brain fog!The other reason to be cautious is that there have been no large scales studies of this formulation and dosage. What we know about lithium is based on prescription dosages, which are roughly 100 times as strong as this. And we know with stronger dosages that lithium toxicity is a real danger. With such a small dosage, it shouldn’t be a danger, but it also has no double blind large studies to demonstrate that it actually does anything good either.But I am familiar with being in a situation where nothing that is FDA approved is doing anything for me and I’m sure a lot of people are considering this with the same situation, so I’m trying these. I’ve just started taking them and medicines like this can take months before you really get a clear picture if it’s doing anything for you. Additionally, individual anecdotal accounts should not be taken more seriously than double blind large peer-reviewed studies. But I will continue to update my information as time passes and let you know if anything changes, only because there are no good studies yet.
