    This is a probiotic supplement providing four different types of strains of probiotics. It contains 50 billion CFUs, colony forming units of a proprietary blend. Each of the four different types of bacteria, lactobacillus acidophilus, streptococcus thermophilus, bifidobacterium bifidum and lactobacillus salivarius colonize in different parts of the digestive tract, and provide different and complimentary benefits. They all help provide a beneficial digestive tract, with benefits ranging from aiding digestion, such as by producing lactic acid, helping to prevent diarrhea, having an effect on immune health and inflammation, and promoting an overall healthy digestive tract by helping to crowd out potentially harmful bacteria. 50 billion CFUs, which this contains at the time of manufacture, is indicative of a good probiotic supplement. Knowing that the bacteria reaches the targeted areas of the digestive tract alive, without being digested first, is important. This probiotic used a prolonged release system to accomplish that. And, being a 21st Century product, a known supplement brand providing quality supplement for over 30 years, means I can trust that the potency of what is stated, and that the prolonged delivery system works. The bottle contains 30 vegetarian capsules, a 30 day supply at the one capsule per day directions. Which also states to take it with a meal, which provides additional protection against digestive system acids and enzymes. Overall, this seems like a good probiotic supplement. it contains 50 billion CFUs of four different strains of bacteria, each colonizing in different area of the digestive tract, and providing complimentary benefits. Has a prolonged release system to help the bacteria reach the areas they colonize in alive. And is by a brand known for quality supplements for decades.

    It doesn’t have a bad taste but it’s a very large capsule which is kind of off-putting. Honestly I wish it was a probiotic gummy or something. But it does seem to be helping my son’s regularity

Lastly, be aware that the instructions say that the product needs to be refrigerated upon opening.

    These are small and easy to swallow. There is no smell. This seems like an okay value. You get a 30 days supply. It doesn’t say anything about refrigerating it so I think it’s okay at room temperature. 50 billion is a good quantity per capsule.
