Opening the bag was like getting punched in the face with garlic lol, they are definitely garlic capsules. We are a fan of garlic in our home. I was excited to try them out so as soon as they arrived I took 2 (3 is recommended), and gave my husband 2 as well. My husband’s digestive system didn’t like them – garlic burps for the rest of the night. I experienced a garlic taste, and indigestion for hours, with quite a bit of burping. I think I’ll have to try dropping the dose to 1 to see if I have the same issue. I read other reviews stating there’s no aftertaste or digestive issues, but I guess my husband and I are the exception. I’m not going to throw them out because I do believe these are potent quality capsules, but may have to play with the dosing to see if I can get the benefit without the rest. I’ll update my review if I have a different experience with 1 capsule dose.

A great way to get your garlic in!
Garlic, especially aged garlic can be very supportive to the body for it’s heart nutritional support and immune support. There is an odor, as this is not the odorless variety, but it’s not overpowering, and I don’t notice a smell on the breath after taking it. There is also no noticeable taste to me, as the gelatin coating seems to prevent that. The ingredients are simple and the gel pills are easy to take and are a comfortable size for swallowing. There has been no stomach upset or other side effects from taking it that I have noticed. The price is good for the amount of product that you are getting.
